Im making a survive-based game. How could i make the scripts stop while im in the shop, and run again when i exit the shop. So the enemies dont game-over me while im buying upgrades?
Oh, cool! Ok let's see, one way you could do it is: when the player clicks the shop button, send out a broadcast "pause survival mode." Then give all the enemies (and other sprites that do things in survival mode) the code: when I receive "pause survival mode" stop other scripts in sprite (aka the "stop all" block from the control category, and you select the "other scripts in sprite" option) Then make another broadcast called "start survival mode," and when the player clicks the "leave shop" button, send that broadcast. Then, give the enemies the code: when I receive "start survival mode" Anyway, let me know how that goes!
