Interested in knowing if a 2nd activator *_hump_* placed *_180°_* from the existing one would drive the wheel to a max speed 2X faster than it now goes? If so, then how about *_4 humps, 90° apart_* ? At some point in increasing drive pulses, this system would fail mechanically.

this idea also appeared in my mind but I haven't tested it.. The main thing here is efficiency... Have you tried to measure efficiency of such "engine"?

also I have another idea. What if to attach 3 such starter solenoids to each other (tip of solenoid #1 piston to back of solenoid #2 piston etc) and turn them on in same time? It should increase length of chain move for 3 times more, I suppose....
