Check out EaseUS Vocal Remover (free): bit.ly/3MXvqp9 Vocal Remover can remove vocals or background music from any song or audio file. It creates karaoke instrumentals and acapella vocals by removing song vocals or background music online for free. EDIT 2: 🚨👋🏼 I stopped making Audacity videos as I've switched to Cakewalk (also free) because I needed more features. If you feel the need to upgrade too, here's some of my Cakewalk videos to get you started: Installing plugins tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GFilDyaT6WY.html Plugin presets for voiceovers & music: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a3Cydu1BfuY.html Cakewalk music mixing: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zscWGg2bvNg.html Cakewalk voiceover editing: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GFilDyaT6WY.html EDIT: I found out another possible reason some of y'all have recording problems. To the right of the mic selection drop-down, make sure "Mono" is selected so you're recording in mono to the mono vocal tracks. Otherwise, Audacity will record stereo to the only available stereo track (the instrumental), screwing you over. Hope this works! Can't believe I missed my own premiere lmao. Anyway hope y'all liked this one and got something out of it. I'm working on my own music too so stay tuned 👀
Music is really awesome! Your videos are the best I've found and I'm grateful for your knowledge! Thanks for creating the videos and I wish your music becomes more known 💯🤗🙏
Just wanted to let you know this is really motivating. It get's really easy to think that something that is skillful sounds bad when its really just a bad mix and master. Thanks for the help :)
I've been working on music for around 4 years on the cloud man. I've deleted a lot of old songs but started up again recently. I plan to use your video to improve these things in my music. Also if you ever had the time to make a video on installing plug-ins for audacity that would be insane man. I'm still using the raw software to mix
Recording in Audacity or Pro Tools makes no difference. It all depends on many factors such as ram memory, processor, microphone, soundproofing, background noise, whether we use a mixing console or just an audio interface. I recommend to record, clean and level but mix and master in another daw since Audacity is more limited. Also for covers, spots, jingles and recording live instruments. You can achieve a lot with Audacity and professional results if you know how to drive. The industry wants to market Pro Tools as the best. Good vídeo
very well done. I started singing along because I've replayed this so much. the hardest part in putting out my music would probably be the aim for perfection. I have been working on my project for 2-3 years. I'm planning to release in dec. please pray for me in hopes you all can here it. I truly just wanna do this for the world.
I will confidently die on the hill that is 100% possible to make a professional mix people want to listen to in Audacity (I have also done it before I ever owned a DAW like FL), given you check your work, keep track of your applied effects/undos, and make backups of the original audio files on disk. Screw people saying you need this/that or it doesn't sound good. If it sounds good, it is good. DAW does not matter in the grand scheme of things. All that matters is you and your workflow.
Yeah, hands down best audacity help. I just switched to cakewalk today. It was nice to see what you used prior CW tho. Great stuff amigo. Cheers to the mixing and producing journey!
Love the content bro, been using audacity for a while and learned a lot from you, I have though moved over to cakewalk, so if you ever saw a way a tutorial on there would be highly appreciated
thanks for the video bro, but i got a little problem, i dont know much about google drive and how it works, i downloaded the presets but its all codes and stuff. please how do i interpret the presets.
I think you can record the drums and other instruments in another software daw like mpc the import the recorded track into Audacity, since Audacity is limited in drums and instruments capability. Audacity does a good job with guitar and overall editing of tracks.....very easy to use.
i found out about audacity from my brother he was in a band and used audacity to record at first glance it looked basic generic but that's what made me love it it is generic basic and there isn't much to do on it but its free simple and their are plenty of tutorials on it lol.
had the same problem, my issue was that my audacity was a 64 bit version and my plugins were 32 bit versions. So I installed a 32 bit version of audacity and it worked for me
Please help me bro.. while recording songs using karaoke, the track is again recording in the record session... How can it changed? I need only my voice in the recording session.. but the karoke is also again recording. How can it stoped?
Please advise: I have my backing track loaded up, I have a new track opened and I’m ready to add my vocals or/and instruments. BUT… when I press record, the recording starts in the new track but from where my backing track ends. How do I record from the start of the track?
Thank you! I find Audacity to be quite intuitive compared to something like Reason. One problem I have encountered is that, even with headphones, there is some leakage back into the microphones. Now, if I were in control, I would create an echo canceller to remove (at least the linear) portion of this echo. This is WAY easier than it sounds - the hardest part is finding the transfer function between the headphones and the microphone and even that isn't all that hard. Does anyone know if Audacity has this functionality?
everytime I click the record button, it has my audio recording after the beat, and I want to be able to hear the beat while I record and have my audio not recording after the beat, How can I get it so its like that?
I'm really bad with making use of the Application Audacity, wish i can get the perfect video for a start to make music from home before affording my instrument for better sound and music making any suggestion for me? Plz....
