Jenny, If “you” actually get to read this, I want “you” to know that you are the first person I ever seen do tutorials on quilting ....years ago! You saved my sanity with your life story. I started teaching and providing all things for Free Quilting classes. Many ladies in my community have no financial access to sewing machines or supplies. You blessed me and helped me so much. I thank you! You are a God sent to me and our community. Love your family. I am praying one day I get the opportunity to meet you and thank you in person.
This is a dream my sisters and I have had for our community. We would like to inspire those who would like to learn to quilt but maybe do not have the financial ability to do do so. We are praying for provision one day to open a free studio.
What an amazing thing to do 👏👏 I know how much quilting brings to my life - it’s definitely my happy place 😃 I’m sure you have helped improve so many people’s lives 🤩 I’m sure Jenny’s videos have helped so many people too. I wait for Friday every week 👍🇬🇧
Thank you so much for using one of my patterns on your channel! Many years ago, I used your tutorials to help me learn more about quilting so this is a dream come true ❤
Just 15 yrs I had been searching all over the internet for your web site a friend told me abut it there was something in her voice that told me that there was something different about your channel and I watched a few episodes I didn’t expect to you to be so nice just. As tho you were my neighbor teaching me something different your patterns were easy precuts helped me with cutting down on cutting various sizes ( I hate cutting fabric) and still today your channel is the best if I see a pattern I know just search your archives and I will find it also first time I ordered fabric from you the sweetest note saying hi and hoped I had fun making my project just like you were my neighbor sharing her fabric with me so I’ve made sure I was awake at 12 am to catch your new show lol so thank you for more than just a quilt pattern show xoxo to every one who helps you (do it all)
Jenny girl, you are a doll. I so much enjoy watching your tutorials!!! You always say, "Use the tool that works right for your mind." WELL, you are that tool for my mind. I relate with your teaching skills and appreciate your personality 🩷 You tickled my heart when you chuckled about "fussy cut" Thank you for all you do.
Love this quilt! I also love how the stars are made from the “negative” space and there are no worries about sewing over (and cutting off) the star points! Genius!!
Another great idea..it would be a beautiful red white and blue quilt..love the split screen of Jenny speaking and seeing the sewing machine..Have a wonderful 4th…see you next week for another great idea 🙋♀️
Adorable pattern and fabric! And I LOVE the new video editing while Jenny is working at the machine. Love being able to see her face and her hands at the same time. I’ll definitely add this pattern to my list.
Such colorful stars! Love the design & the fabric is so cute. Thank you, Jenny Doan for sharing. We're going to have a new great-grandchild by end of the year maybe the baby will get a similar quilt😊
I can honestly say that I have never seen you get THAT excited over a fabric line!! It was cute! And it is a great pattern. Thank you for continuing to inspire us each and every day! Happy quilting! 🧵
This is an absolutely awesome quilt tutorial!! Jenny I’ve watched you since April 11. 2011 & TBH there’s only been a handful of tutorials I haven’t care for. I’ve learned so much from you, the best thing I learned was your comment “ Finished is better than perfect” You’re amazing and hopefully soon I’ll get to fulfill my wish to visit QuiltTown USA!!!!
Good Evening Jenny, Oh My Goodness this is such a fun video❣️👍 I cannot wait to make this and I love Tula’s fabrics❣️❣️❣️ I hope you have a wonderful weekend and maybe you’ll get to go camping. ❤️🥰❤️ Chris P.S. I am so happy you’re feeling better! 🥰
LOVELY work- 13 years I've followed you, as I had just retired..knew NOTHING about patchwork! You have always explained everything in great detail and such a positive attitude and gentle tone of voice
Thanks so much for introducing me to this pattern. I have the queen sized version on my long arm currently. I used fabrics from a Tula Pink stash also. It was a joy to make!
I just purchased the fabric to make this beautiful quilt. Love, Love, your tutorials. Has your videos changed, they do not seem to be as clear and bright as they use to be? I can't tell you how many quilts I have made from your videos.
Love star blocks and this is so pretty! And, I know you like to do what ifs. So did you try turning the blocks in different directions to get different patterns? And what did they look like.
You know, if you really like an image on the fabric, instead of cutting 3 of the 3" squares and 2 3.5" squares, you could cut 1 3" square and 3 pieces 3" x 5.5". Snowball 2 of the rectangles with 3" background squares. Then sew the 3" square to a background 3" square and sew that to one of the 3" x 5.5" rectangles. That would allow you to work with more of the image into the block.
Jenny this is a beautiful pattern, would love to see it in a queen size for a bed. Looks like so much fun with a beautiful result! 💗 many blessings from Minnesota! Have a healthy happy Fourth of July to you and yours.
There is a glare from the overhead lights on your ruler when you cut. I absolutely love this quilt and Tula Pink fabrics. Thanks for all of your wonderful videos!❤
Hi Missouri Star Team, is it possible to make this quilt with jelly rolls? If so, how would the math work out? Kindest regards, Ronnie from Melbourne Australia
