Hey! Fellow furry here! Pro tip, do NOT make the belt loop out of foam, make it out of literally ANY fabric, but not foam. Foam is easily broken under pressure and if you're moving it a lot then it will break. Also I do not recommend glueing your seams but you can ig. But other than that this is a great start! Yeeahh, I figured that out. It did NOT work well, also I tried sewing string to the tail for the belt loop and it still fell apart, do you know how to fix that?
@@RatFluffz I’d suggest taking a piece of elastic (strip) and cutting it into two small cubes/strips, take the two small pieces of elastic and sew them onto the back of the tail up right ( like this | | ) next to each other, for this you must sew since it’s much more durable then glue and it makes it lie flatter! You can then thread the belt through. I didn’t explain this well so excuse me lol.
Yes! I am a furry to and I actually got my fur suit made by my friends brother because he makes them for a living and he makes a lot of money! Never ever use foam. it never works
@@Bvbble73 trust me I know, my first suits were cardboard but having a foam belt loop will make it break instantly and especially for beginners it’s rough to have your work fail.
How to make a rat tail: take a piece of wire shape your wire into the position you want cover it in clay add details make sure theres a slit at the start of the tail for the belt congrats, you are now rat :)
Heya! Nice Tutorial! However while yes u can glue it'll last longer when sewn! Also foam Easily rips so I don't recommend using that as a bekt room. I use ribbon personally however using foam is gonna be extremely temporary
Joanne’s, Walmart, and other places have fur for cheap but there is also tuts on how to make tails out of yarn! I highly recommend making one! I have 3 and it only took 6 days to make them!

I actually don't have any nice belts bc all the belts I have use to fit me but now it doesn't so thats what I use paper btw the tail you made can be used for a bunny
