Oh my goodness! This is the best version of this tent. And dead easy. Lesson learned... DO NOT use finger jointed 1x2. Went through about 6 of them before I realized. Thanks for your video 🙏
Hi, great video! I have a question. I want to make some of these but have been concerned about safety. Why did you choose to do 1x2s at the bottom with brackets instead of dowel rods? I'm wondering if your idea makes it more stable. Also for the chain at the top-I've seen videos where they tie string at the open to keep the tent from opening. Wondering if yours is more stable or if the bottom can still open. Did you use hooks and a chain? Thank you.
Hello! I’m having a few problems I wondered if you came across- firstly, the spade bit is so hard to use! My drill keeps stalling out and jamming/making a horrible noise; it took forever to get through the piece of wood. After I finally did, the dowel won’t quite fit. It alllllmost goes in but not quite. It’s a 3/4” dowel and the bit was 3/4”. Just confirming that’s what you used? Thanks!
