For some reason this idea just came to me: grab one of those long handled plastic spoons, carefully heat with a birthday candle and bend the meeting point so it’s more like a ladle. Then it would be easier distributing the sand more specifically.
yes, the tree will be perfectly fine when in a closed terrarium as long as the terrarium is built correctly. Considering it is a bonsai it should be a temporary top that can be accessed for trimming, but if the right amount of water is used it will thrive without maintenance for months.
