Dr ji, in another video of yours, you said that diet cannot be generalized and it always depend on the doahas of the person. And here you're generalising it. Kindly clarify
So as a physician, I have to agree with some of the items so I should say most of the items this doctor states, but don’t take out fruit from the diet. You don’t need to eat a boatload of them. One needs the polyphenols from berries, you need the antioxidants and all sorts of flavonoids from so many of the fruits. Just stick to 1 to 2 servings maybe half a cup to a cup of fruit. Everyone needs to calculate their BMR. The BMR gives you your calorie intake for the day. If you want to lose weight eat 200, and 300 cal less than your BMR if you wanna gain weight for whatever reason one wants to gain weight, what must eat 100 to 200 cal above their BMR. I agree that you’re not supposed to eat pure fructose all day long but I don’t know who would.
Sir ji, 1 doubt. If we take food 6 times in a day (small meals) do u think our body will have time to clean it up ? Because elders advise us to maintain atleast 4-5 hrs è
I felt the same. May be Intermittent fasting is for people who are facing obesity or those who are facing some Health problems. In this video he is saying two things. One is diabetic, do not do fasting Second ....I forgot ;-(
If we go on eating i. e . for 6 times then what about insulin, it will go on secreting. We will have more fasting insulin. Insulin will make us fat if we have insulin resistance.
The idea of small frequent meals is to have a steady glycemic index unlike loading meals, thrice a day. Again it’s advised to people who can A simple way if it suits you Not for all working and high profile people who hardly have time for a single proper meal
@@bindumahesh2737 Again intermittent fasting does not suit all body types. Hunger is a dynamic process. Today I may eat two servings, whatever. Tomorrow I may need three So,insulin getting used up and other parameters is different Unused insulin is your point Never mind, you can use it up Our body can be worked up accordingly Only a personal Doctor visit
thats because of no physical activity. minimum 30 minutes of continuous brisk walking(i.e. no breaks in between) is very very important for everyone. Of course, don't start doing 30 minutes from day one. Build it up with 10 minutes first to 30 minutes in a week or two then continue it every day. also, make sure you don't eat 5 white poisons namely sugar, white rice, maida, salt(in moderation) and milk.
@@rajap8320 while I agree that small meals are ideal, eating all the day is not. The mind constantly thinks about food and the digestive system has no rest. By the time one meal is processed, the other comes in. The insulin response will kick in every time there is food. Also the anxiety about what to eat for next meal keeps the nerves on the edge. I have seen people who eat all day have a poorer control over diabetes. Also, small meals all the day will lead to constipation as there is no sensation of “satiety” about eating. Yes, satisfaction is a very important component of eating. On the tops, this system will never let you get hungry in the first place. Ayurveda says - Hatha bhuk, mitha bhuk, kshutha bhuk. The ideal solution is to involve in sufficient physical activity to create a hunger and stop just before you are full and stop thinking about eating the moment you finish and go to bed with an empty stomach- but not hungry. This is also called as intermittent fasting these days. But this was a part of lifestyle a few decades ago. Dr Hegde says wonderful things- but no, 6 small meals do not work. We have a long digestive tract for a reason. Two meals a day with 8 hours in between works great- if you eat the right stuff.
