All you need is a nut, a bolt and wrench, it ain't rocket science to install them.

You're right. I use a grade 8 bolt with a nut screwed on first, followed by a hardened washer, Put a little grease on the threads of the bolt and screw it into the rivet nut. I hold the head of the bolt with a combination wrench and tighten the nut with a ratcheting combination wrench. Very simple to do, and it works every time.

Almost there. Need a calibration indication to indicate how far the mechanism has travelled so the Rivnut thread is not stripped by over tightening. Good start though.

I love those videos where to make a 100$ tool that can be used by a monkey they use about 50$ of supplies and thousands of dollars of tools which requires years of experience to be able to use

Think if you’ve got all the tools to build this and know how to uses them then you won’t bother as you’ll be quite capable of installing a rivinut or it’s equivalent without this waste of time.
