Why do you cut the length of tulle 15" then you cut it off? I love your work. I am elderly and I am thinking about making these dolls this winter to pass the time. It looks like fun, making the face will be the hard park for me any suggestions to make it easier. Beverly Gray-Alexander
Hi Beverly! Of course you may cut the tulle to a more exact length. I find it easier to trim afterward. Yes, there is an easier way to make the face - I teach children and we use markers! Just be sure they are fine-tip permanent makers that won’t run. You can make this! (I am 63…)
I love the idea of leaves for wings....all of the angels are lovely! When you do the gathering stitches could you do a closeup to see how far you stitch from the edge please...thank you :)
