I was really happy about that too, I feel like most people look at Gacha and think it's just little kids making NSFW content, but I've seen some adults use it professionally, so I really don't get why people are so rude about it when it's such a good source of inspiration.
Thank you! I’m thinking of being a vtuber (on a different account) and this is helping me prep icons and other stream items, since the little things matter too ^0^
@@MariYumeCh Mari I wanna rig my vtuber character but I’m on iPad and is online broke and has a pea sized brain. Can I commission someone or some other way of rigging?
Actually, on gacha club/gacha life theres something called body map, it's where most of the body parts you might want to move are separated so you can screen shot it and edit it then you can animate it

I’m a gacha animator! (Mainly Live2D). Y’all, it’s super easy! Just, I reccomend watching some tutorials for hair, lip sync and eyes as they could be quite difficult for beginners like you and me! I learned it in less than THREE DAYS just to tell you how easy is it!
@@belloveer oh, i am on a windows computer sorry! Though, my computer has currently gotten malware and is on the process to get removed. Sorry I can’t help!
That's funny, because i actually made my png avatar using Charat, i just made a few alterations on it because, as many options as there may be, it doesn't have _everything_ i want, so i just added the things i wanted to it. I also keep mentioning that my avatar is mostly NOT self drawn because i am not an artist (yet).
@@lovecimarron Charat do have a Live2D service but you'll need to pay them to create a Live2D using your created image by copying the URL and emailing them the details. Another way is to separate all those parts (hair, body, arms, clothes, eyes, nose, mouth etc) into separate layers in PS or Clip Studio and then rig it in Live2D Cubism instead. But if you don't want to rig, you can watch Mari Yume's linked video for reactive or gif pngtube tutorial. I myself am in the process of using Charat to separate multiple layers into PSD and importing into Cubism to make a proper Live2D avatar.
As an avid user of picrew and gacha club, I can confirm they're both good at getting feels of what a character will look like!Though I'd extra extra extra recommend gacha club if you use any of the gacha games because of the adjust feature they have on there. Adjusting means you can change positions of accessories, face markings, wings tails, ears, and the likes. They also have options for small "animations" mainly for hair, tail, and wings. (They also have a blink option)
Thanks for this video! Charat is something I highly recommend as well because it's really great to customise your avatar. The one you shown is the most common and highly popular style, though Charat also has other ones (for example a male and female version art), so you can do more. There are also chibi versions. I do wonder about their TOS about not using it for crowdsourcing purpose. What about donations? Especially as vtubers also have a donation/tip link. I guess if it's not specifically used for major crowdsourcing it should be fine?
Just made a Picrew that allows Commercial use while my Live2D model is being worked on, and funnily enough, it's one of my favorite Picrews too! I've always enjoyed Picrew's works, but never did I realize I can use some as a PNGTuber! I appreciate all the advice!
gacha is sort of limited but its still an amazing way to make an avatar! most people rig gacha avatars with mostly live 2d _also to get the separate parts on gacha life its the hashtag at the very first icon at the bottom, gacha club you go to hide which is located at the top of the screen and press on the three body maps at the bottom_ hope this helps!
meanwhile i used to rig gacha using kinemaster, capcut and cutecut 😭 rigging static images per frame isnt the most fun experience but rigging with live2d probably isnt either
@@zellasteria omg i remember how many hours i used to spend on that silly little avatar maker i dont do that anymore but i’m getting into vtubing now and so are my friends and im kinda the one guy who would make models so like im gonna have to learn live2d
@@koifish4276 oo, i remember when i first started live 2d, i used to heavily rely on gacha bc i used to have only a phone that i didnt have a compatible stylus before :’) i still kinda do but i normally do it for character design
though gacha would be good for vtuber models, most youtubers dont make their own models though, and call themselves gachatubers instead since they use it to animate or make mini movies, etc.
It would be kinda weird but i'm a boy and i think girls avatars are cutes (i'm not saying that man avatars sucks af but i'm just saying i prefer girls avatars than mans) and i'm probably do an girl avatar i really wanna see how people will react when they will hear my mans voice and get them confused My microphone sucks rn so i cannot talk but when i'll get a new microphone it'll would be so funny to see how people would react Just it bye
I use Gacha a lot but I wanted a more realistic character and this helped a lot tysm! Edit: so I downloaded a lot of apps and Reality is the best but I also found Vurtu which has hand tracking but you can’t customize your own OC
Yeah, since people weren’t talking about it I thought it wasn’t part of it. I am in the gacha community tho and now all my wishes in the VTuber community have been fulfilled… now for deltarune.
@@augustssafespace2 Please share this with the gacha community because I only have 2 brain cells and I have NO idea where to post this for them to see. Tell your gacha cuties to also share this! I want people in Gacha club to feel valid since I know many are scared it's dying
I think most people don't recommend it for a very simple reason - most of picrews and some of these sites possibly too cannot be used for commercial use, so you won't be able to receive tips of any kind or have monetization at some point.
Hello Dianko! I explained how to ensure that you can use it for commercial purposes in this video, Charat and Gacha club are 100% fine to do that if it's related to video games, streaming, and making tiktoks/youtube videos ^_^. The one you have to look at is Picrew since some artists are not ok with it, but some are!
@@MariYumeCh I remember there was some controversy around people using picrew for thumbnails, so it's good to avoid using it unless it's stated you can ^^; just to avoid any troubles. Other than that, good tutorial!
I would like to say a massive thank you for your help I was getting interested in vTubing and I hope to stream on twitch soon and I’m really glad I found this video. 😊👍
The worst thing I have ever experienced is, I wanted to become a VTUBER but wasn't been able to since 4 years. Yes, I never got to start. Only because no youtuber or streamer wants stickman character and that's why no artists work with stickman characters, and my avatar is a stickman character. Everyone is just about human character. Let it be anime girls, 9 tailed fox, or anything. I have even seen people using will-o-wisp and other creatures as their avatar. I guess it just feels good to watch VTUBERS but that's all about it. When you want to become a VTUBER and need your own unique avatar, that's the end of your journey. No youtube tutorial, no artist, seriously no one can help. I am also not inhumanly hyper intelligent like others that if there is no solution, i will make a solution myself.
I'm honestly really surprised but happy you mentioned Gacha because it gets a lot of backlash, I actually created what i want my model to look like on gacha club😁
By the way!! If you want a 3d avatar, REALITY is a pretty good start- I use it! It has good starter outfits, gacha pulls for outfits, too! There is a large group of people who use it lol. (As far as I know it's avaliable on Android and maybe IOS
Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we can go to heaven. He has risen from the dead. He will come back someday to send the righteous to heaven, there wont be a purgatory, no defined judgement and you can no longer ask for forgiveness by then. Jesus forgives all the time as long as you ask for forgiveness. There will come a day of judgement if you die before his coming. Tell this to others and tell them to tell others and so on.
honestly I agree and most of it had to do with the fact it's 3D and feels a lot like an uncreative MMD character (but that's just my opinion, I don't mean to rub it in anyone's face) BUT HEY you don't have to rig anything or have any skill at all
Mari Yume at 2:08 Yea im already using gacha life or Gacha club but idk if this game is actually part of the vtuber thing Bc in the future i think ill try to become a vtuber but however im curious on how to actually gain views and subs
YAY, I HAVE MY GACHA OC 😍 well now l need the png one cuz of you did make me want to love pngtuber, l know people think this is cringe and l don't care UwU
Thank you so much for this Video, I recently have been thinking of becoming a VTuber in a few years time but i like planning things before hand. And because of the Idea of me wanting to be a VTuber, I started considering many things, One of them being the fact I can't Draw T^T So the websites you provided us will definitely help me out a lot! But of course i still have more researching to do before i dive into VTubing. Once again,Thank you! (and have a nice day >v
I‘ve already thought about using a gacha character and you can also get a character sheet where every body part is separated so that you can animate it in Live2d.
I'm on my way to being a vTuber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Mari Yume!!!!!!!!! I'll make sure to shout-out you in EVERY ONE of my VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again!!!!!!!!
Im a gachatuber and animator too i didnt really think gacha can be used as a vtuber model but it can be but only 2d i think for people who dont know how to animate you can find on youtube and for apps for animating like capcut, kinemmaster, alight motion and most reccomended live 2d and you can seperate body parts in the app too!
I feel very stupid for the asking but here I am, so when I go onto Picrew and look for an icon and they say quote, " Individual" and "Non-commercial" in the tabs/section in the top of the creator. Does that mean not allowed as a png for being a vtuber or not? Almost all of them say, "Non-commercial". Is that bad or good?
I have a question! Is there a possibility that you can stream on twitch with your png avatar on mobile?? I’ve been trying to find out but no one is helping 😭
