This was mind blowing! Right, what I was looking for. Thank you so much for making this available :) You are an angel. My questions are: 1) Does the account option on top of the website allow the creation of accounts for both customers and hosts? How do their 2) You showed how things look from the client's perspective but I am wondering how it looks for them when they make a booking. Do they have that info in their profiles? 3)I am wondering how everything looks like from the host perspective, Do they receive an email or confirmation when somebody books? Do they have an specifi front-end page with information about the bookings and payments? I think would be amazing to have a video clarifying both perspectives, the admin one is clear but the user's ones would be even better. Thanks!

I’m trying to make the change but now I’ve consistantly seeing the following issue: 1: Calendar disappeared from “Listing” 2: “Request To Book” disappeared How to reproduce: 1: Go to wordpress Listing/All 2: Select Any Listing to edit 3: Scroll down I was able to see the checkbox that enable manual approval for booking, but it’s gone now. I was able to see calendar, but somehow it’s not showing up any more Did you guys made any changes recently ? I’ve tried to deactive Hivepress Bookings Plugin and reactivate it, but it’s not fixing the issue. Can you please help take a look.

Hey man, got a question. Is it possible to set up a custom service fees? Something like say security fee or cleaning fee or anything else really. Of course it would be great if it can be set as mandatory or optional which will then be added up on the checkout page.

Yes, you can add extra booking fees (pricing tiers & extras) for each listing. To do that, you need to install the HivePress Marketplace extension (it's already included with the theme, and you don't have to purchase it separately).

Am having problems setting up the pay now button..just found out that the woocommerce>settings> products page>requires woocommerce bookings which is an added cost for me to setup the bookings store and not just a products selling store which is free..how do I setup bookings without the added cost?this makes the theme expensive since I didn't know beforehand that I needed woocommerce bookings subscription...am abit disappointed.. please help ....

You can simply disable the "Bookings" extension in the WP Dashboard > Plugins section if you want to use RentalHive as a real estate directory.

I'd recommend using a separate listing for each room type. That will work the best (e.g., a room with a sea view costs $100/night and a regular room goes for $60/night and so on).

hi there, great work here. i had a question. With hive press package installed, do vendors get to have access to their own dashboard for adding services/products, changing prices etc or not ? just like WCMp or WCFM plugins. I was testing vendor section of hive press plugin and made a separate user to verify as vendor and when i login via that user verified as vendor all i can see is settings allowed to the vendor nothing else.

You need to link the 3 main Woocommerce pages in Woocommerce > Settings > Advanced: checkout, cart and my account. Should work after that

As admin you can allow user registration in the HivePress > Settings section to allow users to register and list properties on your website. Also, in the current version, payouts are processed manually for security reasons

Question: Does the credit card fail if the user enters invalid one? Seems like that didn't work when you entered a fake one. I don't want users to be able to enter any sort of credit card

You need to enable LIVE mode and not TEST mode. In LIVE mode, it will accept REAL cards and real payments. In TEST mode you can use 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any date in the future and any CVV code

Great video. Adding the mobile view and front end from the host view, especially calendar, add listing page, etc would make it complete. Few more questions. - Can a host set multiple pricing options for weekends, holidays? - Can you add additional services (like was shown in the example of travel by plane/car) and add it to the final price - Can you split the bill and make some amount payable immediately, the rest in property? - which are the paid plugins from the ones shown on video? Great video. Apart from the search. This one is not really good. If I first have to click on a search result in order to be able to check the availability toes, this is too time-consuming for the customer and jumps off. The entry of the date would already have to take place in the first search. Also the number of people. Otherwise, everything will be displayed first and that makes less sense. Without the possibility to edit this, the theme is not sufficient.

You can install the free HivePress Paid Listings extension (set an expiration period) and vendors will have to pay to renew listings and keep them visible. 2) It works like an escrow, all payments are sent to the website owner and once the order is confirmed as completed by the customer the seller gets the order amount on their website balance (this depends on the commission rate you set). Then the seller can request a payout, you can set some minimum amount for a payout request and process payouts by your own schedule (most marketplaces do this one a month, to have some delay for covering possible refunds).

@Carletta 're RentalHive supports a multi-vendor feature by default. Anyone can register and list their property. You can enable/disable the user registration in the WP Dashboard > HivePress > Users section

I purchased this theme and some additional plugins and I'm not happy at all. It might be perfect, but there are some bugs which provide an awful user experience and the security deposit option (which is vital if you wanna rent for instance expensive equipment) is not well structured. I asked the devs for a fix and they say they'll release some updates shortly. It's been 7 months tho, and I'm still waiting. I've never used this product in the real world so far. I wouldn't recommend it.
