Hello Mr. Domestic! First, I’d like to thank you for your ability to elicit humor and positivism. It is very much a breath of fresh air. I decided to do this project with my daughter who lives with special needs. You emphasize the beauty of teaching that it’s okay not to be perfect. So far, it’s a success. My special girl helped with cutting the strips and now she’s ironing strips, with a little help from mom. She loves it!!! I can’t wait to progress through this project. You are awesome!!!

Ok. So I've watched this video. Then I went to the one with the decor bond interfacing. Then I watched Man Sewing where he made a bag using a jelly roll & no interfacing. I do believe this one with the peltex one sided fusible would make the bag sturdier & would last longer. This would also be handy next to the cutting mat for scraps or for keeping a project all in one handy place instead of scattered throughout my sewing room :) Thanks for another great video!!

I just found your work today and it looks like I may have another fiber hobby! Just a suggestion. Get an old coffee mug and rest the Aleene's in it upside down with the lid on between weaving. Then the glue is already in the tip for the next strip.

the glue is a good idea as it will make the finished product more sturdy. Beautiful looking basket. Im thinking I might try this as a test run and if it works I could create beautiful baskets as gifts for ppl and something for my home.

Hi Ho Great tutorial. Itching to make one, two or a hundred. This is a beautiful fabric basket that may need to be washed. Do you believe that the glue will hold if using a gentle cycle on washing machine? Beth

Hello - love this I have 2 questions for you, if you have time to answer! 1) could this be adapted to precut jellyroll strips (they are wider I think - forgive me, I am new to quilting products). AND 2) any hints for expanding the size (I am thinking a kickass yarn basket or floor storage basket). LOVE LOVE LOVE your projects and your gorgeous laugh
