It should help the stamp temporarily stick to the platform/stamp mount block. It is meant to be removable. I apply my stamps to clear acrylic stamp mounts all the time, and then I peel the stamps off to store them separately. When you first apply the Tack-It Over to the back of a stamp, it's pretty sticky after it dries. If it's too sticky, I dab it several times to my shirt to deposit just a bit of microscopic lint to that adhesive. The stamp is still sticky enough to stick to the platform/stamp mount block, but not so sticky I have a hard time getting it off to store it for the next use. Hope this makes sense!
BeckysCraftroom Yes, makes sense. I just didn’t want to use anything that would leave the platform permanently sticky from the adhesive. You can probably remove just about anything if you wanted to, but it looks like this product leaves no residue to worry about.
