Recipe:
Danish Elbeskeivers or Aebelskivers
2 cups buttermilk 2 cups flour
3 eggs ½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder 3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
Separate the eggs, beat egg yolks and add sugar, salt and buttermilk. Add flour, soda and baking powder. Fold in stiff egg whites. Place oil in each hole of pan and fill with ¼ cup of mixture.
Cook on each side until brown. Heat, medium high.
