Ingredients
4 medium to large potatoes Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes are best, approximately 1 pound
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika optional
Instructions
Wash and dry the potatoes well.
Peel the potatoes.
Cut the potatoes into small square pieces (about 3/4 inch thick) and add to a mixing bowl.
Preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees celsius (400 degree Fahreinheit) while you get everything else ready.
Add the olive oil, salt, pepper, and seasonings then toss very well to coat.
Add the potatoes to the air fryer. Avoid overcrowding them and place them in the air fryer in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to cook the potatoes in two batches to avoid overcrowding.
Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
Serve immediately when the potatoes are fork tender, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.
