I mean could it be that Mike traveled to Cali to possibly work on the Kei truck considering it's already been done and delivered back to the Donut Garage and now it's gona get a proper tune? Find out on the next expisode.
Notice how they heart almost every comment but none of the ones talking hoonigan or the kei truck? yall are way too deep into this, creating drama that isn't there.
@@MrDJAK777 Because suppy is still an employee of Hoonigan, and shit talking an employee of one of your clients isn't very professional or good for business. That is their engine in the kei truck though. They do need to make it clear that the low power made from it is not the fault of Angel Motorsports. This video is fine but I hope a statement is made on the Hoonigan channel to clear up that bullshit. I personally saw multiple people in the comment section of the dyno video saying they "didn't get the point of rotary engines" and so on. Suppy's handling of the 13b has hurt Angel Motorsports at least barely. That is pretty fucked up.
@@jean-christophegallant8855 they still running a business and from the looks off it they ain't near cali, hoonigan/worthhouse need to fly them out and pay them for the tune, they wanne safe that money probably haha
Let's be real, there's a video of the kei truck being driven from the moment it started running. I don't think the plugs ever got changed before that dyno run, so from the moment the car fired up, it was compromised.. That's the number 1 thing I took away from the few vids I've watched from Angel motorsports... Always have fresh plugs.
Hoonigan: **Get's the Rotary Kei Truck running with a sh&t tune** Vargas: *Let us show those f*ckers how to make power with an NA Rotary!* 😈 I'm just joking, i love Hoonigan and the Vargas bros, but i'm kinda mad that Hoonigan acts like the Vargas bros don't even exist, i hope everything is good between them!
That's not the case, they have businesses they need to maintain, can't always be gone doing shit for Hoonigan. Also notice how both of the Vargas bros back in Long Beach where Hoonigan is located.... coincidence?
@@jay_wright Yeah, i get that, but have in mind that John buit that engine in the Kei Truck and he knows what he did to that engine and only he knows better than anyone the limits and how to tune, i never said they shold've done the whole build 😛
We're in the middle of a pandemic. Can't be flying cross country constantly due to health reasons (Vargas bros are in VA). Especially when they've got months long wait lists for their work. @i_break_necks has been waiting on an engine from Mike for months.
@@Mojoqwerts18 Even with the pandemic they've been traveling, look at alot of youtubers videos. Also they're not both located in VA, ones on the east coast, other one the west in Long Beach.
Thank you so very much! I've been thinking about the practically of a carbureted performance 13b build (no nitrous) for a future project and now I have some realistic expectations and it should work very well for my needs so thank you very much. When the day comes I'll definitely be coming to you guys for a built motor. Keep up the great work!
@@Jake_Hamlin he sure has, vargas brothers believe in the same philosophy that dahm does, rotaries are not magical instruments they are actually easy to work on and reliable engines when balanced properly
Lol suppy has no faith in Doritos... He prolly slacked on so many factors with that poor swap that 160 was the best they could get without blowing tf up!
I love how much knowledge the Vargas brothers have. Could listen to this knowledge all day. Yes kinda upset Hoonigan didn’t let you guys tune the Kei truck. But got mad love for Hoonigan and Angel Motorsport
@@matthewmcclain1316 yes, and the dollar is too expensive to my currency and there is so much taxes its ridiculous, so i'm just gonna build the aircooled all motor
yea 13B PPs have been making 330 at the flywheel (aprox 280-290 wheelHP) since the early 80s. My dad took a 12A PP to Le Mans making 280 at the flywheel for the 24hr race but not at 11,000 RPM holly cow!!! PS: i have permanent ear damage from the IMSA rotaries, wear ear protection, PPs will make your ears bleed
My dad owns a glc, it’s not rotary swapped but it’s conquest/starion swapped making 600hp if I remember. Man glc’s are the best looking cars from the late 70’s early 80’s.
What a lot of people are forgetting about kei truck is that there is no room in the "bay" for a proper intake. You literally sit on top of the engine. it doesn't matter who tunes it. If it doesn't have a good intake and exhaust on it then power will be down and in this case, it is.
Seeing these NA motors and their capability i am now fully convinced that rotary swapping my 92 crown vic is the right move. To be clear i dont want to drag race it or even expect it to be super fast. I just want everyone who knows anything to wonder why a beefy american passenger car sounds like its got a weed eater under the hood.
They are a lot like a 2 stroke dirt bike i got to know well. A husqvarna 365. The exhaust pulse must fit in the tube and reflect back up pushing it through the collector like a ringback on a 2 stroke exhaust? I want to do a pp renesis for my rx8.
I watched a fucking ad just because I know the intro would make it all better. (I dont watch ads. Ever. I immediately close the video and wait until I'm on my PC to watch)
I thought my monitor was going to explode LMAO 11,000 RPM! Not my speakers but I actually sat back in my seat the higher the rpm thinking. What the heck is going to happening? lol!
