6” average 😂😂😂😂 making memories with your dad is a beautiful thing . I’m always happy to see boriquas doing their thing . “PUÑETA PRENDE LO” 💯💯💯 that’s a shirt
Wow lads. Almost brings a tear to my eyes. Your father must be proud. Rotary Engine Culture bringing a family together. That's a special RE right there. If I ever have enough coin to get my engine built by you guys, that'd be the sickest thing ever. Hopefully BTC does 1,500% 📈
if it wasent for you guys i would never have fallen so hard for rotary engines. when i get my rx8 i will be sending you guys the engine right away to build it for boost. thanks for all the great content!!
Boys, I live in Australia... could I put in a request for subtitles when you speak language....John gonna be having fun with that...your old man looks young... cheers
6:43 john:stick your finger in dad stick it in! 6:56 john:working hard huh? Dad:"chacho"! is a thing in spanish people say like "dude" in english, and depending on the situation its either agreeing or an expression of how you feel at the moment with one word. 8:16 mike: hit this one and this one 8:32 Dad: this ain't gonna come out from this side now right? Mike:no 8:35 John: you're suppose to know this, you're the rotary master.😏 8:37 Dad:ehh!?, just asking questions. 8:40 Mike: mentions something about the bolts i couldn't really hear what he said here. 8:41 John: you haven't built a 20B in how many years dad? Dad: "Chacho"! Woooh! 8:49 boom, it stood 9:31 John: this engine is mine. and something about 3years i could really hear what he said through my phone speaker😜 11:02 John:go ahead spin it!, GO or the 🐖 is gonna burn !😆 "referring to a spit roast" 11:11 Mike: let me know when it feels more loose. Dad: yeah it feels pretty tight. Mike:still? 12:15 John: GO TURN IT ON TURN IT ON! DAMMIT TURN ON! 😆
It was nice that you guys included the Old Man in this video! I learned from my dad as well and its a nice sentiment to include him! Proof that the rotary community is family.
I just have to say I've watched several of your videos, but non compare to having your Dad on one. It's great to see the great family bond you guys have 👍
Wow, it must be awesome having the Ole G in the shop… I miss my dad, ironic how my dad got me into rotaries early in my teenage years. Miss you Pop. It’s nice to see these guys wrenching on a 20B with their daddy. Great Video👍
Y'all the reason I'm gonna be a performance mechanic. Seeing boriquas being so high up there In the world of rotaries makes me proud af. Gives me hope too to be able to get out of the island and work on what I love.
That's awesome seeing you guys working with your dad. Spend as much time with him as you can, I expected mine to be around longer than he was and now that he's not I wish I did more with him.
Such a good vid and so cool to see your dad come out and supervise you 2 jokers! There is something so cool about NA rotors. Growing up in Sydney Australia in the 90s rotories where everywhere. When I finally got my FD RX7 RZ I was in love. The way they want to rev is addictive. Keep up the good work guys.
U guys r awesome ur dad kicks ass.. I watch this all the time never once owned a mazda or a rotary engine but man.. hats off to u gentleman. U kick ass
yo, you two guys working with your dad give the goosebumps, that's sweet al 100 ! My dad was not able to be there when I was learning and at tech school "Mech Tech" back in the early 90's, seeing you guys working with your dad, that alone deserve the best. Mad props to yall. dale cono!
I used to love working on cars with my dad. Unfortunately he has RA and can’t really bend like he used too so he mostly watches now. Cherish that shit.
This channel is very educational and one of my favorites ... ustedes son unos mostros mi gente!!! Padre y hijos.. doesn’t get any better than that🇵🇷🇵🇷👍👍💪💪
You guys really make me want to try and port and assemble my own engine. I just bought an FD, and an extra 13B off marketplace. Its awesome you guys get to make these memories with your dad, I wish my dad was into Cars.
I would love to see the Vargas Bros build a variable runner length intake. Like the ones used on the 787 & 787b race cars. It would really max out the NA torque curve. “Full Boost” has a great dyno vid on one in action. With a little info on how it works and was built. Great work guys! Love the content.
I'm not sure if you guys know, but the reason mazda used those ports was to decrease port overlap also to increase exhaust velocity and have quicker turbo spool for better low - mid range power. Also, the rx8 rotors and the s5 n/a rotors share the same face dimensions meaning they both give the same effective compression using peripheral exhaust ports 9.7:1. The reason why rx8 is rated a bit higher is due to the side ports, since there is no overlap, and longer intake timing it essentially raises the effective compression ratio to 10:1. That's one of the reasons why noone sees any power increase when swapping them into 13b-re housings. Any power increase would be due to less rotating mass since they are a bit lighter, but even then it's negligible. In your case I would use them as well since you'll be revving to 10k, but other then that really no reason to use them over s5 n/a rotors unless you already have them or can't get a hold of s5 one's.
