I made this recipe but because I froze the gel from the fresh Aloe Vera when blended turned to juice. I added Xantham Gum and made it into a gel plus I added some essential oils. It's brilliant, my hair is so shiny. I made enough to store in the fridge. I have high porosity hair so this will come in handy when I need to moisturize my hair daily.
Rosa healthy hair: when you use as a leave in, do you add anything to lessen the funky smell of the fresh aloe? I’m gonna try this and add the lovely sent of lavender or peppermint oil.

Negative. Vitamin E is anti oxidant and it itself resists mold, etc. However it's properties do not distribute when mixed/absorbed. You'll still need a preservative to stave off bacteria, mold, yeast, fungi, & mildew. Optiphen is the simple and safest option.
This hair mixture is only meant to last a few days in the refrigerator :) If you have a lot of hair you will use most of it quickly. Share with the fam :)
What beautiful hair you have girl. I've always wanted curly hair & plan to get a perm. I also wanted to tell you that aloe vera will actually grow more if in a smaller pot. Maybe not extremely large But it'll definitely bless you with an abundance of little pups (babies). Don't know why this is but I'm sure you've seen this by now.
