I think he did not weld it because he is a bad welder and did not want to ruin the build. But he just has to remember a grinder and paint will make you the welder you aint
Stop smoking your drill bits on the steel stuff.. lol. Slow speed cuts faster and helps your bits last longer. Drilling a pilot hole with a smaller bit first also helps a lot.
Oh and stop using those shitty hollow pull rivets.. they don't last long at all for stuff like this. Learn how to make your own rivets out of round steel and hammer each end flat on an anvil.
Aero Trace I'm pretty sure I have quite a bit. I was saying he was dumb because Eli already takes about a month to make a video and if he spends double the time making his own rivets instead of just popping them we will have to wait even longer. It's not like he's using these weapons every day. He tests them then probably doesn't touch them for weeks.

You might want to put a hand guard/cover in front of where your fist goes. It shouldn't take you very long, nor should it be very much effort. Just bend some diamond plate into the correct shape and rivet it to the frame around the grip area. You should probably add this before you film your testing video, maybe even show you building it in that video. I wouldn't want you to bust your hand, or chip a nail, or to have some other ghastly form of harm come to you while butchering fruit and veggies.
This is one of my new favorite things by you. One of the few weapons I've made was a big metal gauntlet but it didn't have blades or anything, something about it surrounding your hand just feels super cool though!
Look up "hellboy library scene" and make the guys weapon. I know you made something similar with ice skates but it would look cooler with an actual blade on it.

since you're usually drilling through pre hardened steel, I'd recommend using carbide drills instead of cobalt, it will cut much easier and there is no need for cutting oil when cutting steel.
I always find myself falling asleep during your videos, not saying that they are boring I love your videos and always re-watch them because they are cool, watching the sparks fly from the angle grinder or him using belt sander in other videos is just satisfying to watch and is soothing. Your choice of Music makes me sleepy also, but overall the videos are amazing I just gotta stop watching them while laying down.
