I am sure these are great but for me I had to leave off the Adobo and the Accent. Adobo contains MSG and Accent is All MSG. So, it’s double MSG. This much MSG would ruin me for two days. Headaches, dizziness, ill feeling, constant sleepiness. I have a terrible sensitivity to MSG. So, I did your recipe with no msg, high quality farm raised free living chicken’s wings and it was great. MSG doesn’t bother anyone else in my family though but they loved these wings sans MSG as well. Thanks for the recipe.
Oh for sure! We always say MSG is great, unless you have an allergy or get sick from it. You can definitely do these with simple salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder! After a good base like that, any sauce would be amazing!! Thank you for watching fam!!🤙🤙

Thank you so much for watching! And great question! We prefer at least 1/4 amount of butter to Frank’s to keep it mild, but it’s up to you as far as heat. We actually add Usual Suspects to the sauce as well (this video is a few years old, so we have adjusted the sauce since then).

Just listening to the wings on the griddle made me hungry. I could smell them from here. You could eat them without sauce. That is so true. I actually prefer a rub over a sauce anyway. Awesome! I had an issue at BWW, until I went once and our server recommended the Garlic Parm as well as the honey mustard wings (separate, I ended with teriyaki as well) - these sold me to BWW, my three favorite still! Love it! We’d love to send you some - but don’t think they’d keep in the mail.😜
Nice! The best garlic wings I have had was at BWW. Very surprised because I had been disappointed with other flavors there before. Now I like ‘em again!🤙🤙

i can tell you guys are from Florida using adobo. I first learned about it when I moved down in 03. that stuff is perfect for chicken and pork chops. Im gonna try the "usual suspects" next time I grill. This video has me wondering what it would be like to use the air fryer in tandem with the griddle. Start off on the griddle to sear and render the fat, then toss them in the air fryer to cook through and skip the cover on the griddle. Only downside, the air fryer bins arent nearly as easy to clean.
Boom! We want to do a video using the Air Fryer combo! We talked about it with each other while we were cooking - I’m with you, think they would be amazing, but you are right, I’m still trying to figure the best way to clean - they are a beast!
Just started watching ur channel after getting a black stone. I remember years ago at a hooters they sauced their wings when put them back on the flat top to caramelize the sauce. It was awesome. Gonna have to this on my new black stone.

Oh no! Cook chicken to about 160. It will continue to raise in temp to 165. Cooking to 170-175 will make the meat tough. At least that’s what I have found.
Ok. Smash burgers were a success. I used homemade BIg Boy tarter sauce on them. Delicious. Next wings now. Normally use Sweet Baby Rays mixed with a little Worcester (don’t know the spelling so I “winged” it lol. Gotta try your home made one. I like very mild

Love your channel! I love BBQ wings. My trick is to put a layer of foil on my Blackstone, add the cooked wings and sauce; that way, the griddle top doesn’t get so messy with sticky sugar sauce. Easier clean up. Griddle on guys!
Do you ever use flour or corn starch. Do they get crunchy the way you cook them. My wife gives me trouble because I'm snapping my fingers when I'm.done. 😅

A temperature difference between active and low heat/ non heat temperature can rang from 15/ 28 degrees on same surface. Internal temperature as we all know should not be directly downwards. As seen in the video. Not next to fat areas as fat holds a lower temperature.
For those whose income was more affected by the pandemic, forget the massively over-prices wings and do the same thing with the other parts. Legs, thighs, even breasts can be purchased for a fraction of the price by weight. Unfortunately, the wing explosion has caused wing prices to soar, but that doesn't mean we can't make awesome chicken. IMHO the thigh is the unsung hero of the chicken anyway! So leave the $3.99lb wings in the grocer's cooler and load up on $.89/lb legs and thighs!

Hey man, congratulations!! We actually only used the steam and dome to speed it up - but totally not necessary! We just did wings again without either. Just keep flipping them until they they are really crispy outside, and cooked inside! (We find that the higher the temp - some pushing 200), the crisper and better! Water is fine as long as it is wiped off - sitting water is bad. Hope this helps!!🤙🤙🔥🔥
Hi Bob! This is what I have used for years. Just came up with it myself... and this is where the “Usual Suspects” was born: 1tsp salt 3/4tsp pepper 1tsp garlic powder 1/2 tbs onion powder 1/2-3/4 tsp Adobo 1 tbs Accent (found in the spice aisle) Feel free to be as liberal with all of these to your taste. We can’t wait to hear the result!!! Also, this was the measurements for 40 wings.

It's a ton of effort to make wings on the Blackstone. At home, I'd choose a different medium. If I were cooking for a crowd at camp, this works very well. It's a lot of oversight for sure.

@@waltwins Don’t listen to the haters. I was actually shocked when I saw a few negative comments. I’ve seen just about anything cooked on the griddle. Also, you are 100% correct. There are many people who saved up and splurged on the Blackstone and may not have the other methods of cooking the haters are mentioning. I actually have a Weber and an air fryer but saw a picture of some wings and a flatbread pizza made on the griddle that looked 🔥🔥🔥 and thought I’d try. You guys are my go-to!!!! Use liberally/ to taste (We have “changed” amounts to taste - we used to use a bit more pepper, but adjusted for our personal preference.) Hope this helps!
I made wings on the griddle and my Husband looooved them!!! I will say tho, the Clean-Up was Brutal! At least 45 Min!! And Constantly adding water and a FEW BURNT FINGERS LATER👍🏻👍🏻 You can BET!!! I RAN OUT TO WAL MART AND GOT HEAT RESISTANT GLOVES!!!!🔥🔥
So happy they were good!! Oh for sure, the cleanup… yikes!! We typically turn the griddle to low heat and add water - it’s enough to steam, but also it doesn’t get so hot as we push the scraper. Also, a scraper with a handle may help too!! Hope you are okay Fam!! GRIDDLE ON!🔥🔥

You guys are great. I have had a Blackstone for 4 - 5 years and while it looks interesting for wings, I have yet to find a product that makes wings or ribs better than a Big Easy.
