How to make AMAZING Strawberry Poke Cake. Mother's Day 2019

First, my lovely 14 year old granddaughter and I made a Strawberry Poke Cake with Step-By-Step instructions as a Tutorial. Then the rest of the video is our Mother's Day celebration, first stop was at Sweet Cheeks winery for a picnic lunch with my oldest daughter and 2 granddaughters and the older granddaughters beau, and some fine wine. Then we all go to my other daughters house for an AMAZING Italian dinner and a FAMILY gathering. At the very end of the video I do cut the cake and give a taste

Happy Mothers Day!!! The making of the the Strawberry Poke Cake is the first 18 minutes, then some FUN with FAMILY a 1 of my favorite wineries for lunch, and then off we went to my youngest daughter's NEW house for a family gathering and dinner for Mother's Day!!! I like the color of your Kitchen-Aid mixer. I have a blue one. Think it is royal blue. My kithen is now pink and purple. I live in a small apartment now. The mixer is in a closet since i don't have room for it on the counter. It is 23 years old. One of my daughters has a red one. Maybe my oldest daughter will get it later.

egg shell...u should have started over .

@Emilia'sworld Hi! 🙋🏻 Egg shell... That is why I always crack my eggs in a separate bowl, because egg shells happen even to the most careful baker!!! When I am using eggs, I wash them as soon as I take them out of the refrigerator to use, then crack them into a bowl by themselves just in case a small bit of egg shell should fall in...if one does then I simply pull it out of the bowl before adding it into the main mixing bowl. No reason to start over as there is no contamination because the eggs are thoroughly washed before use to be sure there is no contamination once cracked and the egg drops out across the egg shell. I just simply fish it out before adding eggs to the mixture! As a senior citizen, I'm on limited income, and can't afford to throw good food away, so I'm very careful in each step of the process! That's why I thoroughly wash the shells before cracking, then crack into a separate bowl. It is absolutely safe to use them if done in this manner. I'm a certified food preservationist through Oregon State University so I understand your concern, but I only use safe methods when handling foods.
