I must commend your building skills, however, this pump is inefficient. Seems like it just spills the water out of the cup more than anything. A bright use of air suction and valves though... all in all a cool concept. The design can indeed be improved by optimizing the volume changes in the cylinder. Hence it may be worthwhile to consider using a piston-rod mechanism as opposed to the simple balloon thing, which minimally influences the volume change of the cylinder. See some carburetion systems (they work on a similar principle in order to get air-fuel mixtures into IC engines). Good luck and nice work!
If you're OK using a battery operated flashlight, then this should be fine. But this won't provide enough pressure to actually pump most useful things. It MIGHT pump a decent amount of air into a pool float. No sports balls or tires
And then I saw the answer. I never used hot glue. So it isnt a "permanent" type glue,, which answers my question from several other projects. Ahhso wacadimasu!!
🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️ 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.
Has nobody noticed the end demo where there are 2 nearly-hidden black wires stealthily connected to the motor? I doubt that 9-volt could drive the motor like it does in this video, especially after he tried to turn the pump with his own hands and demonstrated how much resistance there was.
I'm saying that I doubt the motor has enough torque to drive that compressor setup as fast as it does, if at all. You can tell when he's spinning it with his hand how much resistance there is, and there are 2 hidden black wires connected to the motor whenever it's showed running. Explain that and get back to me, thanks.
It's a balloon, that motor can handle it fine. More than likely he was doing this pretty late and his battery was dead but he couldn't get a new one because the store was close. Something. So to fix that he used a bench power supply or something. Yet again. The video is NOT about the power of a 9 volt, it's over a simple air pump design.
i agree with the others. the battery must have been dead. in the closeup where turned on the switch you could see that the rod was moving for a moment. (10:11)
You have any written description on this. Actually i am makeing my final year of engineering project. So if you will give me written description i would be very thankful 2 u. I will never forget your help in my description.
I dont see a secondary one way valve on the pipe so i dont see how this will work? The suction caused inside the can should suck and expell the water up and down the pipe instead of opening the valve on the can?
The gold jar lid with holes I believe serves as the necessary intake while the diaphragm creates pressure changes and thus movement. He drills holes in a lid and then covers it with a plastic play doh top that appears to mostly stay closed. But when the pressure becomes negative in the can, the holes probably open up and allow for intake. Then when above and pushing out, it goes out the green tube as it is the lowest path of resistance. Probably why theres so much noise, that plastic lid is flapping while the diaphragm is slappin too.
The ONLY thing I'm uncomfortable with is how you glued the battery to the board. I would've glued something down to hold the battery in place. other than that it looks awesome. spectacular
well i could say you should make a battery holder and put it on the board then you can put it there when it dies just remove from the holder and then place a new one !
The equipment used to make this project are many and they cost lots of money. But I liked the amazing craftsmanship of the gentleman. I wish I can buy all the equipments. Could you please list all the equipments you used to make this project so I can buy them and make some useful project. Thank you in advance.
Thoughts for next vid: Edit down to half time. Dont show the tool you're gonna use next, just use it... Dont glue battery down. Makes it annoying to change when needed. Dont spill water on your contraption like shown in the vid :P You are two minutes away from a short circuit. Less boring music would be nice. Try classic maybe? Other than that, good vid! :) (y)
+PFKNTHETA // I do. If you find it stupid, ponder this: What kind of music is used to accompany cartoons? What kind of music do we all know, even though it's up to a centurie old?
Cute. Two criticisms, 1- Clean your soldering ti[ and "tinn it" See any how to solder video. 2- Why didn't you put the motor in a straight line with the piston?
