I'm an Altoona native... Born and raised. The dough is almost like a sourdough, it's thick cut like a Sicilian style, using green pepper rings, cotto salami, and deli style American cheese. Not Velveeta, Kraft, or that single wrap shit. If you really want close to authentic then use Delgrosso sauce, and a deep baking sheet.
