This is tricky and require experience. Too high temperature mix quick the metals but can generate a lot of problems to work this alloy. Only Zinc need special attention to mix but I do not use. Coly

@@jewellerymadebyhand I rather like this style of morganite. I think the faceted stones really only look good on diamonds rubies and sapphires because they catch the light nicely. Quarts crystals don't have the same shine, which is the purpose of the facets so it ends up looking dull to me. I think this cabochon looks nice and it works well. I also like how the design makes it look like rose pedals are on either side of the stone. It's a lovely and unique ring :)

@@thereisa Morganite isn't a quartz. Amethyst and citrine are, and can be cut and polished to spectacular effect. It is all in the quality and cut of the stone.

Theresa Kim morganite is a beryl and in the same family as emerald.
