I absolutely LOVE fried bologna sandwiches..!!

It's a good, filling meal that is quick and easy.

My favorite is fried bologna well done on toast, plain and dry. 😋

This just what I had for lunch ,with egg and cheese on it😊

I use to eat sandwich spread with fried bologna sandwich. Love them!!

Looks good! We like to go one step farther and grill the sandwich like a grilled cheese. Grill balogna first then put on bread with cheese and grill entire sandwich! YUM from KY

In Memphis we slice our bologna thick, almost 1/2" and fry or grill it with a nice char, then douse it in bbq sauce and put it on a sandwich bun with a scoop of slaw. That's the way you make a real fried bologna sandwich.

We also like fried bologna. We like it for breakfast and fried egg and balogna sandwiches with mayonnaise and mustard.

For me and my sister we ate fried bologna slices but on the side instead of bacon or sausage sometimes for breakfast. I do love cold bologna sandwiches but I've never had a fried bologna sandwich. I'm definitely gonna try this. ❤

Most restaurants, especially taverns, around here in Southwestern Indiana serve fried bologna sandwiches, normally on a bun, but you can get it on bread if you prefer, and use a very thick slice of meat. My husband puts ketchup and relish on his sandwich, I like mustard on mine.

I forgot to post one of my favorite sandwiches of all time - The Onion Burger. You take 1.5 lb or so of Ground Chuck. Brown it and drain the grease off. Stir in a TBS or so of flour. Then add a can of Campbell's French Onion soup and let it simmer. Serve it up on a bun with chips or whatever sides you want. We always had these when I was a kid. :) Love your channel, Sue!

I just saw this. My favorite sandwich is cold bologna and provolone cheese on cinnamon raisin bread (or a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel). I somehow concocted it when I was 5 and its been my favorite ever since. In fact I had it 2 times last week. Try it!

We ate those sandwiches back in the day growing up, I had a thick slice of onion instead of cheese. Tuna was always my favorite tho! Love your videos!

If you wrap your lettuce in paper towels, then put it in a Ziploc bag. The lettuce will stay fresh last longer, also, cabbage.

I love fried bologna sandwiches. I’m 72 years old and I’ve eaten hundreds of them in my lifetime. My husband also loves them. I put mayonnaise, mustard, onion, tomato and lettuce on mine. My husband puts “lots” of mayonnaise, tomato, onion, cheese and lettuce on his. It great with your favorite chips. God bless you and your family.

Grew up with fried bologna. Mayo, tomato and lettuce. In the morning my Mammy (Grandma) would make bologna bowls and eggs for breakfast. So very good!

Mama Sue you brought me back to my childhood! I grew up on fried bologna sandwiches. We made ours many different ways. A lot of times I just liked mayo, fried bologna & cheese. But sometimes during the summer months if we had a summer garden & wanted to be fancy lol we would get a garden mater and slice it up and add it to our sandwiches along with some lettuce too. Makes me crave a fried bologna sandwich now. My daddy use to get a roll of unsliced bologna and he'd cut thick slices of bologna, cut an X in the center of each slice and fry it a bit in a skillet. Then he'd fry up some of our laying chickens eggs and some toast or biscuits & have a nice breakfast meal. We'd have that a lot for supper at nights too. Sometimes we would use biscuits as our bread and make bologna biscuits too! I remember eating fried bologna & cheese sammiches with tomato soup a lot with the bread toasted slightly. We grew up poor and bologna was cheap for our big family. We ate our garden grown vegetables, ate the eggs from our hans, and when a rooster went mean and started chasing us kids around trying to spur us my daddy would get him and the next thing we knew we'd be eating tasty fried chicken with homemade creamed gravy. Lol! That didn't happen often but your rooster wasn't considered good anymore after he turned mean where I grew up. We didn't ask for help or go on government assistance if there was anything of the sort even though there's nothing wring w/asking for hrlp or needing hrlp it just wasn't what my daddy did. You just took care of your family by living off the land and buying cheap cuts of meats like bologna. It was so good and it was some of my favorite memories. My daddy has been gone now for over 13 years. I miss him a lot. I hold theses memories near & dear to my heart! Thank you for helping me remember them & going back in time with me.
