As much as I typically like his content, this was sadly not a tutorial but more of an advertisement for the polygon addon. Quite disappointed. There was nothing indepth about this "tutorial", it was basically as you said it. Make square room, throw in some assets and call it done.

But that's prolly the smartest way to work in the industry, as an interior designer, it's very unlikely for us to model every single furniture, let alone those plants. But yeah, i do agree that this video is about advertising the poliigon, there was a similar video that was uploaded around e year ago.

The good news there are so many free textures out there, AI is making hi-res textures free for everyone, and you should be wanting to learn to model your own stuff anyway. This dude isn't an artist, he's just a a walking advert for his texture library.

As much as I love this tutorial. It really feels more like an ad. Also not marking it as one while having a redirectiong (affliate) poliigon link is a bit weird for me. Amazing how far blender and poliigon have come. I remember starting in blender about 2 years ago and this would have taken hours to make and now its almost trivially easy

the addon if free, did you have a single thought.....

@@sudd3660 How ironic hahaha. I can tell you've never checked out the pricing of their things. Carry along, child.

@@AnimeHumanCoherence subscription options vary in price and you can add credits. does that not work out pretty good? but still the video explains something, and if that is of no value to you, why cry about it for everyone else?

@@sudd3660 Looks like I struck a chord. Just like shills can clammer about whatever bullshit is peddled to them, people can also share their distaste. If that's new information for you, you can stop reading comments :)

Seriously all comments feel like bots or paid comments... tHiS FeAtUrE is so good it's just an asset pack there's bunch of them, paid and even free, it's not a tutorial it's an ad, what a sad click bait. There were days when blender Guru had actual content now a 12 years old have better tutorials... thanks

Would you please interview "Chris Jones". That random Aussie RU-vid channel that uploaded such a high quality 3D works. Got famous since the pandemic.

No hate towards the addon its great, but the whole scene worth of models depending on which plan you use, could be like $200
