[Instructional Book] Paracord Fusion Ties Volume 1: amzn.to/2VR8Arl
The Oat Spike Sinnet is a subtle twist on the Endless Falls tying technique. Creating a stalked seed and husk like array of paracord, the tie generates a look akin to an Oak Spike [thus the tie's name]. Making a great bracelet, the piece is well worth the tie! Video production by J.D. Lenzen of Tying It All Together.

I like this video! I want to learn to make these Bracelets and the other video's go so fast I can't keep up and actually see how they thread the cord. This is so good I even get to see the details of how he actually makes it come together! Personally I want to thank you for such a good video to help some of us who need to learn at a slower pace great job in my opinion!!

ok im convinced this man has magical powers or some shit. it looks like he doesnt even hold the strings as he tying them. his hands just kind of keep all the loops in place without any pressure. its really cool to see him work

I just tied this for a neckerchief slide for my Assistant Scoutmaster uniform. Then I came up with an alternative, which you could call the Alternating Oat Spike Sinnet. When you cross the yellow in front of the black, instead of crossing the black over again and looping through with the yellow, finish the cross all the way with the yellow, and loop through with the black. Alternate back and forth between the two.

Took a while but I finished it. Came out great :) I enjoy your videos. It's great that someone finally figured out camera angles. Most videos I've seen are out of focus or the hands are in the way of the process. Now I want to read your suspense books you keep plugging. :)

J.D. I'm just getting started in knotting.. Playing with paracord. Stormdrane is always talking about you and telling the people who follow his blogs to come over here to see your vids for the knots he does. I finally did. :) Awesome! I like this knot. Wonder how it would look in blue &red...might have to give it a whirl. I also like the song you always play in the background. It's really....mellow. :) Thanks for these videos.

I love using the loop and clasp, but the knot I use to create the clasp is the diamond knot learned from you. The look and size of the diamond knot seem too fit well with any loop and clasp bracelet I make, and what I do is cut off the remaining strands and melt the ends flush with the knot.

J.D., Chapter Projects is a wonderful and well thought out website. Love the insights and research from the "Decoded" tags. Great to find out a little bit more about you. You mention the degrees in biology and chemistry, but how did you learn how to write? Additional workshops, classes? Or, are you the rare self-taught "natural" writer? Oh, and amazing knot as usual. You know, I can't even look at noodles now without thinking about what knots would reveal the true essence of the Lo Mein :).

This is the braid I've been looking for. Braiding some dog leashes for show and putting some bead on. Using a 95 paracord and I think this is going to work great. Any estimate on if I want the finished product 3ft long, the lenght of cord to start with.? I am thinking maybe 5 times the lenghth? So if I want 3 ft I would start with two 15 ft single cords? Estimates would be helpful.

Nice design...but do you have anything that helps in the true functionality of a paracord bracelet for when we are camping/bushcrafing? I want to be ablt to deploy the paracorf from bracelet to a usable paracord in 10-15 seconds or less. This bracelet takes 10-15 minutes to undo all the ravels.
