Im a new subscriber from portugal, Im sorry for my clumsy english. I know nothing about upholstery, my father does furniture restoration and I want to learn upholstery. I think we could join and start a small family business, Ive seen a couple of your videos and I find it so interesting and I learned so much. I read the your youtube channel description and indeed it is really funny to watch Neil working and explaining. Do you ever do upholster for cars? I havent seen a video out there that could explain it so good as you. Keep up the good work, looking forward for more "How to"

This helps i am going with a 2inch upholstery foam.. however i have to make a platform bed for my 10mo baby and didn’t find exact measurements so i am going to make something at somepoint with the measurements I thought will be appropriate.. will share once i do it. Thank you for guidance in this video 🙏🏻

I love the finishing with the industrial velcro. Oh so I could buy a long blade for my electric jigsaw and then I can cut foam neatly. Mind blown. Thanks :D I love working with foam :D

I can’t argue with that! I try to give as much info as I can as I get so many questions and get told I don’t give enough info in other videos. Guess I need to figure out the balance 🤷🏻‍♂️

I got a second hand bed and after cleaning I simply upholstered the bed with a bed spread from Action, just over the the current one. Maybe that is an idea too for the les handy people like me and possibly also cheaper.

@@faceliftinteriors I cleaned it throughly, the previous upholstery is fake leather so it was easy to clean and to desinfect with Dettol.
