Some description of the process, even if it is just a text overlay, would be quite helpful. It's a nice project. It would be nice to see this based on an ESP8266 type chip that could WiFi connect to the internet and sync time to a NTP server.
I really like the project. If I'm not mistaken it should also work with Arduino UNO R3. Can you tell me how much current the LEDs draw while the clock is running? What kind of power supply do you recommend? Thanks and congratulations :-)
I use a 9V 1.5A wall-wart power supply feeding a 7805 regulator (to power the LEDs) and to the VIN pin of the Nano. That provides all the power I need.
