This video goes over our process of making and installing custom door panels to repair 5th-generation Ford Mustang doors. Our customer wanted to repair and upgrade the panel inserts to a two-tone color combo in Ecstasy Mitt Brown and Ecstasy Black leather to match the rest of his interior. As complicated as it is to produce a two-toned pleated insert panel, it's actually quite simple to make a single-tone insert card on your own at home. You can use ABS plastic sheet (found at most local hardware stores) to make the rigid card backing, 1/4" foam (found at most fabric/upholstery stores) for the padding, and enough material of your choice to cover the insert card. If this process is more than you would like to tackle yourself, you can purchase these door panel inserts from us to repair the worn-down factory ones.
