Hey, Dora! Thank you for all your videos and tutorials. I LOVE watching your stuff! So, question for you-you use castile soap in this. Can I use the liquid goat milk soap I have on hand rather than castile?
How do you keep the scrub dry while using it in the shower? Or even in the tub, unless you have someone else helping you by staying outside the water and sprinkling your washcloth with it when you ask? Powdered bubble bath is fine -- that used to be the most common form it came in -- but powdered body scrub looks impractical. The closest commercial product I've seen to that is Boraxo powdered hand soap; for washing just your hands over the sink a sprinkling dispenser is adequate. And since you have both baking soda and citric acid in your mixture, getting it damp is going to cause a real problem! Alternate suggestion: Instead of keeping the scrub as a powder, how about suspending the powder in a solid and somewhat water-resistant matrix such as wax?
Thanks, Dora! I love watching you make all these beautiful and useful products! You are always an inspiration!! Thanks for all your help and creativity!
Another awesome video, Dora. Thanks! Quick question...does the avocado powder add a scent or is it for another purpose? I'm just trying to figure out if I can use that universally no matter what fragrance oil I pick or if I need to change that portion of the receipt based on the scent.
So, i made this recipe and substituted coconut milk powder for the avocado powder.... Something want right lol, it looks like wet concrete. I'm sure i messed it up but i don't recommend coconut milk powder😮
What else can be used if one does not have avocado powder (or any of the other powders like pumpkin and rose)? Or can one just adjust the recepe by adding more baking powder?
