I love seeing friendship bracelets coming back into fashion! Ive used the clear stretchy string and a lot of the black elastic cord. But i wanted to add a tip for anyone having issues with tieing off the knots. Clear nail polish, top coat. It can kinda seal it all in place. With the clear string or the corded, just brush the knot and let dry for about 5 min. It also helps trimming down loose ends that stick out, or allows for less complicated knots, like a simple square knot which wont always hold on its own. 🍬🥳😍🥰🤩🍭

I never really thought knowing how to make knots properly (in a very specific way) is important. For me it was like… “well, I know how to tie two simple knots and pull them hard enough so they won’t un-tie, it can’t be that hard to do”, but I guess I’m wrong hehe

Hi 👋🏼 Kelly. I want to make some for my kindergarten students. Their wrist measurements are 6-7 inches. I’m confused on how you add on 5 more inches to each side of the string. Do you measure the beads to be 7 inches long and Andy the 5 inches on each side after?
