Used this bit of kit to bevel a 30" drawer front. Worked great. Due to the length, though, I had to take off the back stop, and slide the piece down at the half way point, i.e. two passes. Took a fair amount of force pushing the jig through the blade, cutting birch at 15 degrees. Maybe my blade isn't as sharp anymore, but I was worried the saw (Bosch work site model) would stall. There is no way I could have done this freehand, against the factory fence. Would have butchered it, and likely lost a digit. Thank you!

Can also be used for cutting tenons with a small modification.

After watching this, I realized that it'd be possible to lower my blade using it as a sort of "height" stop, then cut the tapers portrayed in this video. Giving a distinctly different appearance to the nearly squared off edge that the top of the teeth will create. Nice video. Thank you.

Try cutting a equalaterl triangle with a 20 degree bevel cut and keeping the blade on the tablesaw at 90 degrees.

Is there a way to cut a LONG bevel for a cabinet door that is much longer than the table saw bed? I don’t have trouble on the short cuts but it’s very difficult to keep the board aligned when I’m cutting, say, a 30” long cut.

Hi Harry- That was exactly my situation. See my recent comment. Ended up cutting halfway, then re-positioning the board on the jig. Just had to remove the back stop and rely on the clamps. Worked great.

Why not just set the angle with the table saw-there’s not need for extra setup or to run the board vertically.

480p in 2018? I've been tweaking every setting here until I realized it was 480p. Oh NOOOOOO! Lol ;-). Thanks for the video anyway.
