to anyone wanting to print this out here you go ingredients: 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup cornstarch 1/4 cup cocoa powder a sprinkle of cornstarch another sprinkle of cornstarch yet another sprinkle of cornstarch what a shocker another sprinkle of cornstarch wait wait wait.... ANOTHER SPRINKLE OF CORNSTARCH?!?! 1-2 cups of water 2 cups of water 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup water 1 cup of packed brown sugar 1/2 cup water 1 cup milk ice straw big enough for the Boba to fit through In a pan, add 1/2 cup of water, next add 1/3 cup of brown sugar or normal sugar, next add 1/2 cup of cornstarch, then add 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, then mix until watery and brown. Next, cook on low heat and stir constantly, keep stirring until dough-like and thick, turn off the heat and let the dough cool for 3-5 minutes, then sprinkle some cornstarch on a large cutting board, put your dough on the cutting board and knead it for 2-3 minutes making sure to pick up some cornstarch but not too much to where it becomes crumbly. After 2-3 minutes of kneading, your dough shouldn't be too hard but not too soft, so about medium softness. Next, roll your dough to pick the rest of the cornstarch up off the cutting board, then knead the rest of the cornstarch into the dough, then flatten your dough into a medium-sized circle and sprinkle some more cornstarch on the dough and spread the cornstarch on the top surface of the dough, then flip it over and put a tiny tiny bit of cornstarch on that side and spread it out on that layer. Next, take a rolling pin and roll it out into a thin layer of dough. Now use a knife or cornstarch cutter and cut it into small strips, then do the same thing but going the other way so that the dough is now in small pieces. Next, take each piece and roll it into a ball shape and set it aside and do the next piece and repeat until all pieces are in ball form. Next, sprinkle some cornstarch in a clean pan and drop all your balls in (lol), then sprinkle some more cornstarch on top of the balls, then lightly shake the pan to coat all the balls in the cornstarch, then get a clean bowl and get a strainer big enough to hold all the balls and pour the balls into the strainer and hold the strainer over the bowl and shake the strainer over the bowl to remove the excess cornstarch from the balls. Then, start to boil 1-2 cups of water in a pan (estimated amount) or about half of a large pan full of water but right before it starts to boil when there's a lot of bubbles at the bottom and some are rising to the top, add all the balls into the pan and keep on medium heat and boil for 10-15 minutes while stirring every 2-3 minutes, then take the pot and pour everything into a strainer that is held over a bowl, then lightly shake the strainer over the bowl and do this until it is just the balls left in the strainer and KEEP THE BALLS IN THE STRAINER OVER THE BOWL!!!!! Next, take 2 cups of water and pour it over all the balls and take a rubber spatula and lightly stir the balls in the strainer. Next, get a clean large pan and add 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of water and turn your heat on to medium and stir the brown sugar and water till the mixture is bubbling, next add all the balls into the pan and stir them around and cook them for 10 minutes on medium heat, then turn the heat off and pour the mixture into a big bowl and set aside to cool. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup dark brown sugar (packed) and 1/2 cup water over high heat until boiling. Reduce heat to medium and let it bubble until the mixture has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes. It will continue to thicken as it cools. Next, transfer the syrup to a bowl and let it cool to room temperature. The brown sugar syrup can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge overnight. Add in about 1 tablespoon of the brown sugar syrup into a glass, then add some Boba but not too much!!!! Next, in a water bottle with a sealable and tight lid, add in 1 tablespoon of the brown sugar syrup and 1 cup of milk, now add some ice and tightly seal the lid of the bottle and shake the bottle until the milk and syrup are nice and frothy, now strain the drink into your glass that has the Boba in it. Get a straw big enough for the Boba to fit through and enjoy! The Boba can be stored in your refrigerator for up to a week and the same goes with the other stuff.
