i like this never thought of this with the boat rollers u just saved me a lot of money i need to replace all my mounts on my 68 pu thank you for this video
I wish I had a NS accent. Thanks for making these. I don’t have your skills but you inspire me to believe I can fulfill my life long dream of building the quintessential hot rod.
Thats how we grow keep trying something else ....you can learn from the internet..but get out there and come up with your own ideas. I love grainger catalog and old hardware stores and salvage sales...you never know what you can find to adapt to a car or motorcycle ..."its FUN!" Creating is not just following others is to go your own direction And see what you can create.
I have to keep that one in mind, my uncle used to be our Radiator man he had the tanks plugs all the stuff to fix radiators in Northen California. All the old timers are passing away and taking the knowledge or art with them and now days they are made of plastic. My Uncle Rayes taught us how to fix a hole with a chemical you drop in it, I've seen people put bondo on the radiator. I know a place my uncle showed me it was an old apartment building someone turned into diffrent shops in San Leandro California. That still reconditioned or builds them. I bought a recondition one for my 1947chevy coupe stylemaster that keeps it cool. It could use a electric fan to when driving across Navada dessert to Viva Los Vegas. You do what you have to do my brother used a Marcadies radiator for his 48 Chevy 4 door he used parts from around what he had stocked up belts everything he got from people's car's that he worked on. That wanted something replaced. Even plugs belts wire's. Myself I like to buy parts I know that is not going to leave me stranded where ever I'm going on the road I carry some extra stuff for a flat tire or holes the right size belt and a AAA card to tow me to the nearest garage. My rides are driver's they may not look like show car's but they are go car's truck's. I know I wrote a long story but I thought I would share the story. I showed my nephew's how you have to get to shows and talk to many owner's of shops when your building a project's because those old timers and anyone that is in the auto industry it comes in handy the more folks you know the better.
@@snoopy5736 That's cool and your comment is appreciated. We talked about the world reaching this level of sharing in electrician 1st year in 1980. Any one of us can take a thought from our head and offer it up for anyone to put the thought in theirs. Sounds kinda cool and beats the hell outa going to a library and being told to shut up or leave. Just a thought.
Great stuff!! Big fan from Kelowna BC!!! Going to pull my own '33 Ford Model BB cab outta the woods by my house in the next couple day!! Pull her home 1/2km on a homemade sled down the frozen creek to my house. It was an old apple haulling truck!! Keep it up!!!
@@randybowen735 Hi, no I haven't. I will look into him☺ Thanks!!! Dug the '33 out a bit more today. Need to get it down an 80' high 45 degree slope asap before mission creek thaws! Operation McGiver.
Great idea. Last time I made some I just chopped off the sides of 3 cheap horrible-freight rubber hammers and drilled them out. Your idea cuts that time easily in half. And hey, I have the same color skivvies too. Mine have a few skid marks though.
It,s all up Stairs and ya Show us How it,s Done Now Ya Got my SubScibe Ya can teach old dog New Tricks Keep them Comin Don,t hav Much But Man Ya Good At What ya Do I,ve been doin this for 38 years And Still Pluggin away from 1928 to 2002 reStore and Fabricate Awesome thks again Like you
thx Chad youre awesome! im getn ready to add fins to my 76 elcamino and a finned hoodscoop inspired by youre videos love all your good work keep it up sir.
I love the fact you reuse and not just buy stuff you don't need. awesome. Chad, my wife tried to throw away a whole box of welding rods... i mean coat hangers just last week! I saved them, yeah. ;-)
Fun to watch. Even more fun to do. 70 year old cars are tough to find parts. Unless you are a millionaire (jay leno) although i appreciate the beautiful restorations, this here stuff is a work of art. Your choice how it looks in the end. Have a vision and build it.
You inspire me to do more work on my cars , and not to be afraid of trying things, it’s easy to buy stuff and install it , but my welder and bead roller will be getting a work out , I have to try!
Whats the best way you think to sell hot rods? build them to your style and then sell or build them for people at a hourly rate? Thanks from Australia .
don't buy it MAKE IT! don't fit ? make it! have no bolts weld it! need a hole torch it! need to bend it ? cut it in little peaces and weld em! got no auto paint? HOUSE PAINT ! NEED NEW TIRES? NEIGHBOR!
