I am from Barbados and we roast or boil breadfruits. In boiling breadfruits, we peel it like a potatoes and cook it like a potatoes. Mashed boiled breadfruits (similar to mashed potatoes) is a delicacy in Barbados. We call is breadfruit cou cou.

Our area in Haiti, we steam with a little water & add the skin to cover & steam AND ... We Roast on coal. They remove the core and then stuff the breadfruit with smoke herring, garlic, green onions and hot pepper. Place the core back on the top & bottom AND ROAST.... THE BEST ROAST BREADFRUIT, I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE 🇭🇹🔥🔥🔥❤❤

Back! Back! Back! Back! Baaack! In Deddy’s Kitchen! Hi, Fam! In my Island of Puerto Rico, we call breadfruit “PáNÁ” and we boil it like a potato we do not eat it to wear it still has that spongy texture. We love breadfruit child!! Lol🤌🏽💯😍🥰

In Haïti. We call it “ Lam.” We don’t boil it whole, we cut in 4 slices with not a lot of water, it takes about 30mn or less depending on the size.

I would think that you would have to puncture hole in it first. Before you boil it. That's just what I think to release some of the pressure.

Slice in 4 pealed leave the heart in until boil, it has to be a full breadfruit you will never know the difference.

My neighbor showed me how to do that many many years ago Always comes out very good It can also be done in the micro wave put the breadfruit in a plastic bag and give it about 30 to 45 minutes it should be soft to the touch when done always good

I enjoy all of your videos, Big Up Deddy. For your daughter, please seek answers for your silly questions. Please, at times you sound silly and no offense intended. Pineapples do not come from the ground. Just google it. Although your parents are Jamaicans, I suspect that you are not from Jamaica.
