Yes! There is a wet and dry method but I prefer the dry method because it's less likely to crystalize. 1. Add sugar to a clean and dry stainless steel pot or pan. 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring with a silicon spatula occasionally until you reach a deep amber color (or whatever darkness you prefer). You can use it just like that for a hard shell like on crème brûlée. Or, add heavy cream and butter if you want a smooth caramel sauce. I'll add this to the queue of videos to put out!
