Really the only reason I chose it was because the year before, I bought some 1.25" buttons from someone and I liked the size. It seems to be a really common size. A lot of people also do the 1" buttons, which sound not that much smaller, but they really are small, and the pin on the back is really annoying. I think the 1.25" and 1.5" are both good choices. Bigger buttons allow for more detailed artwork, so maybe decide based on that.

To download, click the download button on the page I linked to. Make sure to download the PSD and not the PDF. Then open Photoshop and click file, open. Find the file and open it. Then use the crop tool to crop. You don't need to resize it at all, Just crop off the extra space around the circle. To hide unwanted layers, click the eyeball beside the layer. These are the most basic Photoshop functions that I'm assuming all Photoshop users know how to do.

When you click the text tool, a toolbar shows up at the top that gives you options for that tool. There will be a button with a T on it with a curve underneath. It then lets you select the amount of curvature.

Thanks for this video! Planning on getting my lady a button press for Christmas because it'll compliment all the other art she does and this really cleared up all the questions I had about it. They are expensive, but I bet if you make/sell enough of them you can get your money back pretty fast :)

Get an anatomy book and practice drawing. You don't need to memorize the names of everything, but you should know what's where and know the names of the major muscles and bones. The subject itself is not difficult, but learning to draw it properly from memory will take time. I myself struggle with it, but my problem is I have almost no spare time to draw. Looking forward to being done with school so I can actually do stuff. : |

You can draw and colour the art by hand, scan it, then print several copies. Draw large, then print small. It will take some trial and error to get the printing size right.

For adding your own drawings, how do you prevent it from looking really pixelated? Do you size down the drawing itself to be very small, or do you size down the image?

Every tool has its own toolbar that pops up when you click the tool. It's right under the normal toolbar. Click the button that has a T with a curve under it.

Award for best question! Seriously, that is a good observation. The reason is because the scissors are right-handed, like 99.9999% of all scissors in the world. I couldn't use my left hand to cut anything even if someone gave me left-handed scissors because I'm used to using my right hand all my life. Most people (ahem, righties) don't realize that it's all about the direction the blades cross over, not the handle itself. So most lefties cut with their right hand.

I would buy this but I have no where to sell them. I'm only 13.

One thing it took me a while to realize is that the button cutter Baylee is using for a 1-1/4" button actually cuts a circle that's 1.629" in diameter (which is the size of the mylar discs). I thought a 1-1/2" circle punch would do the trick, but it means the paper is hard to position because it's slightly too small, so you can't just slap it in and have it align perfectly. So for me, Tecre paper cutter it is!

I just don't get it... I was thinking do make some now and then, not selling them or mass-produce them, but just for fun. To begin with, I looked after a button maker on eBay and Amazon, and they were just so expensive. I don't feel like giving 130$ for fun... Then I checked out if I could get a company to make them for me with my own design. I couldn't find where the reveal the prize. So I went back to looking for a button maker, and thought about it again. So, I looked for a template on sixcentpress, and I couldn't set the template in the program I usually use. So, in short.... I don't know if a button maker is worth 130$ I can't use the template probably. I don't know how much it would cost me, to have the badges made by a company. Could anyone explain everything to me? Or just tell me where to get the different things done? ^^' Btw, I love your channel

hi I just got my button maker machine and I got a 37mm mould and every template I stumble upon has ended up in the wrong size, usually too big what shall I do?

It was so satisfying watching the machine swivel back and forth pressing and the sound of it stamping. Ooof.
