Motivating! When my layers of duct and gaffer tape start to fail on me, I will have to give this a go. Thanks!

Impressive. At one stage I had a hefty variety of various format cameras, and even more in need to repairs, and while I could do the mechanical & optical repairs myself, the bellows intimidated me too much to try. Well done, now Im going to try it!

Hey Brian, Thanks for the comment. Yes there is so many different materials to chose from. I used the best I could find. If I could choose I would go for something even thiner for sure!

Hello, thank you for sharing knowladge! what materials do you use? cardboard? leather? where you get them from? Also is there somewhere a formula or counting how to draw bellows design if you dont have actual old bellows.

Hey, I bought my fabric in a local specialised fabric store. About the design I just copied the original but you google a bit you will find many design patterns, bellow calculators...

Hey I follow your channel, and is really great, keep sharing, it’s really awesome. I have the same camera and would love to restore the bellows, but I don’t know how to take it out the camera and put the news back on. If you could tell me how to do it I would appreciate it very much!

Hey, Its hard as bellows are riveted to the front standard but in the back you can remove it by unfoldig the metal frame that is clamping the bellows itself. You will have to use some force in order to do that so be careful. In the front I carefully cut away the bellows following the lens board

The camera is almost the same as my Kodak Brownie Autographic 2A. Unfortunately, I cannot see what is done exactly from 5:03 to 5:14 where the liner is glued leaving me puzzled about how you got to the remainder of the process.

Good video. You did just cut out the most important part. How do you fold the bellows for the first time? I don't think it is as easy as the second time when it's already folded.

I wonder if using 3d printed parts to replace the heavy cardboard would be practical. Any one out there a whole lot better at 3d cad want to give it a shot? The print could be as thin as a mm and be OK I think.
@lostlightart6064

Yes I will definitely do that with my next bellows!

You can also laser cut the material or use a stencil cutter. You would probably get more structural integrity.
@MD-en3zm

You could also use a cricut to make the pattern and then go from there.
@LambeLab

Yes. I was considering printing in pla indeed and put some 1 layer lips connecting them so is easy to glue. Another idea would be to 3d print over the cloth fabric if the bed is big enough.

Thanks for making the video, it would have been more helpful if you could shoot from an angle so your head does not block the view. Also a verbal narrative rather than music would have been more informative.
