I love making candles but it makes such a mess. I hadn't thought about putting the wax inside the candle and melt it that way!!! Yay! Gonna make more tomorrow 💕
Candlemaking with scent is a science, you need to reach a certain temperature, which does mean, you need to warm the wax for longer, as the higher temperatures take longer to reach. Also, you need to find out what percentage of scent to wax ratio you need, this also varies by kind of wax. Soy wax also has a different volumes that it reaches when melted, than paraffin wax. You also can’t fast track it by putting it in the fridge. This can all disrupt the scent. Also, make sure you use heatsafe glasses, like once used for canning. They can burst from the heat.
You could have people add coconut milk, ice, and the mix in a blender for a frozen hot chocolate! Would be SO cute with whipped cream and a candy cane.
