Great video 😊, thank you for all the awesome tips. I must admit, I really do hate wick testing but I know it's a part of the process. And I agree 100% that you have to be creative and not copy another person's ideas... a ton of work goes into product creation.

Wow, all this time I’ve been adding my fragrance at too high of a temperature. That’s why I couldn’t get a strong hot throw. I thought you add at 185 degrees… I’m definitely going to try this today. Thank you. Definitely a new subscriber!

I love all your videos! You are the kindest sweetest person, Thank you for sharing and helping us all out on this journey!! Is that an 8 oz tin? Also, have you tried the cotton wicks in these tins? I cant seem to get the right one.....ugh!
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery 2 года назад
Hi there. I’m in Australia so not sure about oz as we work in grams in Australia but I use the travel tins that are 90 grams. I have used cotton wicks but I honestly pretty much also use woods I love sharing and the goal is to help and create a community

Hi Rhonda, A video on how to choose the right size wood wicks would be amazing. I use CDN wicks and not a fan but am a bit intimidated by wood wicks.

Hi Rhonda You are very helpful as always, novice question, when cutting the wick should it be a couple of centimeters above the wax line and should it be cut straight or on an angle. Thank you
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery 3 года назад
If it’s wood then an angle is best. Also only 1cm over the wax as wood burns slower than a cotton wick

Hi just bump your channel and I loved it. I do have concern with the 100% soy I’ve bought it’s 415 gives me a hard time. Can you help me how to deal with it? Thank you so much and thank you for your informative content.
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery 2 года назад
Hi there. 100% soy is tricky that’s true and I’ve noticed more frosting and I feel it’s not as good as coconut soy .

Around 10 days usually

Thanks for your video. Can I just ask why you use wood wicks instead of the braided variety?
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery Год назад
I do use both now but generally a wood wick does not give off a spell and is asked for a lot in stores I wholesale to . It’s also easier to use as no need to use clips and so on to centre
@rainbowobsidian5313

ooh I have read they are more environmentally friendly, I wouldn't have guessed that. I am after environmentally friendly options. I like bees wax candles for that reason but the cost is just too much.

That was me who asked about printing on a laser printer hehe. Thank you for talking about that. Could you possibly put the link to the sized tin you used in the video? Thank you for another great video I'm trying to catch up on them all I'm a bit behind. Also, where do you buy your stickum's from, and do you add hot glue under them to hold the wooden wicks down? Do you ever have trouble with them lifting?
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery 3 года назад
Hahaha it was a good question.
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery 3 года назад
Oops just seen you asked more. I use Aussie stickums from Aussie candles or pure candle supplies. They never left off and the wood wicks don’t move but it’s about getting your process right.

How do you avoid the sink holes? Thank you!
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery 2 года назад
Honestly it’s rare that I get them but I do the following 1. Pour at low temps 2. Pour from a low range - don’t hold the pouring jug to high . 3. Pour an i inch from the wick.

I used a 9mm wood wick with a booster for the same size tin. Is that okay?
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery 3 года назад
If it works it’s fine. You just don’t want sooting that’s the main thing. The wax, the environment and more will be how you decide

Hi Rhonda, I'm looking to try a different wax. Which wax do you use from pure candle supplies for your vessels please? PURE100 SOY WAX or PURE BLEND COCONUT SOY WAX There are so many out there to chose from! Thank you in advance. I love your videos, if I'm looking for some advice I will always go to your videos first :)

Hi sue. Your a gem thank you. I use the soy coconut from them. I’ve noticed it leaves a silky smooth shine to the top, it holds colours better and is really nice to use.
