That would be good around a campfire in a few months. You just keep bringing us interesting sipping stock. I am looking forward to you and your Bride sitting down for your next tasting. Thank you for all your hard work. Happy Independence Day!
Another one for the book's, As previosly mentioned, I love salted carmel, Have to add a healthy pinch of My Pink Sea Salt to this one... Another great video Randy....
Well ........that sounds downright tasty. Cold definitely, but I am also a salted caramel nut so for me a bit of salt in it would be the bomb. Another great recipe to add to the file. Keep'm comin'.
Happy 4th of July Randy! Thank you for another must try video. you got me thinking and I want to infuse Caramel and Apple using Torani syrups in my infusion chamber on my thumper after my Heads have been run.
I don’t do moonshine but I just got a cider press and this fall I’m going to try my hand at apple jack. Do you think after I get the apple jack made I could use it instead of the moonshine and get the same results
Hey Randy, I got a question. Could you tell me why my shine taste like acetone? I can cut 2 to 5 ounces at the first of the run and it still taste like finger nail polish remover. Please help
My rule of thumb is 1 ounce per gallon of mash and 1.5 ounces if fruit mashed might want to cover cut jars with a paper towel 24 hours let breathe hope this helps
your first 2-5 ounces is the fore-shots, but you still need to set aside the heads too (acetone smell) and collect the hearts. try collecting your run in pint jars and keep smelling them til you get past the acetone smell and then you should have better alcohol.
Oh man, im thinking if i freeze the caramels and blend the piss out of them to speed it up.. I gotta have this for our party saturday.. you guys with the sea salt was a great idea also.. Great Job Randy, thanks as always!
