Miss Gina, I so enjoy your homemade, homecooked, blessed by Christ dishes. You did a great job not scorching that cheese sauce. I, like you have been in the kitchen cooking with my 99yo Granny (still alive) and my mother(81yo) since I was 4yo, grating cheese, picking bones out of salmon for croquettes, crushing saltine crackers, pressing garlic, washing celery, onions, bell peppers, carrots, potatoes, and buttering french bread for garlic bread, and picking out the bad red and pinto beans. In the summer, we sat on the porch picking fresh black eyed peas, green beans, and fresh greens. All of the girl cousins, of course. We ate home cooked food every night, followed by a homemade desserts and fresh homemade ice cream in the summer. I became an HIV/AIDS doctor, with my family's love and support. At 60's old, I am retired now, but still love to cook. I would love to cook with you one day. (What a Blessing) What type of work do you do Miss Gina, my guess is you're a caretaker of the staff, of some type and the favorite birthday/shower/pot luck food lady. So I made this and it was beyond delish!

Miss Gina you are beautiful, love your recipes they are awesome look forward to making this one. I wanted to tell you I recently discovered cooking my bacon in the oven, I had heard about it but thought oh no, it will splatter everywhere but, one day I wasn't feeling well an thought about trying it, I am so glad I did I have never fried it on the stove again. It doesn't splatter and it cooks evenly, just place on a baking sheet heat oven to 400 and cook for 10-15 min or until done the way you like there's no standing an watching it cook.
