Hi Chef Imran....lovely recipe the ingredients look so fresh ...I think I would never find this in a regular curry house. Many vindaloo curries are a joke. The second whole chili (besides kashmiri) is a specific type, e.g guntar type?
Thank you Mark! We’ve been using this specific recipe in various different restaurants over the past 30 years so we are glad you enjoyed the video. As for the chilli, it’s just a regular dry red chilli that is a bit spicier than the Kashmiri chilli. Kashmiri chilli is mostly for colour and a bit of flavour.
