This is my go-to chili oil recipe! I use this on noodles, stir fries, dumplings, salads, and porridge. Here's the original recipe: healthynibblesandbits.com/how...
I made and ate this just now and heck yeah was it good! I didn't have gochugaru so I replaced it with garam masala (I am Pakistani) and I also added soya sauce and vinegar to it .I flavoured potato chips with it ( french fries made at home)🤤
I ate Korean chilli oil ramen for the first time yesterday and I can't believe how unbelievably tasty it was! I ant wait to make chilli oil by myself! Thank u for the recipe!
@@user-yv3lh9fb9p Absolutely. The amount depends on the level of spiciness of the flakes. If they are super spicy, I'd halve the amount of chili flakes. If they are relatively mild, then just sub it for the gochugaru completely.
That delicious. I’ve never made chili oil. I’ve tried it before I accidentally added it to a spicy dish thinking the red was just oil, but it was actually spices and I accidentally made inedible by mistake. I just bought my chili oil online on Amazon. I bought a Chinese brand that I’ve heard of. That’s really good.
Going to try this but with dried ginger since that’s all the store has and they only have refrigerated garlic so thankfully I should be able to keep this a while lol
I'd love to... but 113 pesticides have been identified as present in Korean chilis and chili powder. Unfortunately, there is no organic brand I can find. Pale American will have to suffice. Beautiful recipe! Thank you! ♡

Use chili oil within one week. Use chili oil to flavour things like noodles, dumplings, salads.
You can use any kind of finely ground pepper flakes, like Aleppo pepper or Chinese chili flakes. A thing to note: Korean chili flakes aren't too spicy, so if you replace it with a spicier chili flake, you'll want to use less
