Mmmm… I make these at home often, but I cut them round. I like her tip with adding salt water to them first. I also like to add garlic and pepper and eat them with hummus or guacamole.

2:40 yes that’s the reason I stopped buying plantain chips outside. It was one of the major tv stations documentary, for over 5yrs I’ve never bought these chips in traffic. We were told they melt polythene in the oil before frying the chips to give it a longer shelf life.

This is a beautiful lesson. My only suggestion is the cloth should not be lying on the ground plus packing it they should wear gloves of some sort. Just a suggestion. Even if they cover their hands with another plastic if no gloves.

That’s my favourite snack there ☝🏼, l really love ❤️ it . I had some yesterday. But the thing is I don’t know how the one they sell always come out so crunchy even when it’s in a sachet 😀😀. When you prepare in the house it doesn’t come out crunchy like that 😂 or is it because I use kitchen knife 🔪 to slice the plantain ! 😂.

Used to buy bags and bags of these from the Ghanaian sellers that walk between the cars on the roads. My mouth is watering just watching this 😁 Would love to try to make my own as I'm missing them sooooo much. Does anyone know what kind of oil that is? Also I don't think I can get that kind of knife for cutting it up in the UK, is there something else I could use?
