This tutorial teaches you to make these cute crochet flower scrunchies! There are two different patterns: a daisy and a sunflower one. When it is tied up in your hair, it looks like a flower! This uses basic stitches for beginners, so as long as you know the stitches (written below) you can do it!

WRITTEN PATTERN
Slst=slip stitch
sts/st=stitches/stitch
ch=chain
sc=single crochet
dc=double crochet
trc=treble/triple crochet
rep=repeat
rnd=round
Version 1: DAISY PATTERN🌼
Rnd 1: Slip knot. Sc 36 around the hair tie or as many as needed to cover the hair tie (must be multiple of 3 sts).
Slst back into 1st st of the round. Ch 1 & cut off yarn leaving a tail.
Rnd 2: Use new yarn color. Join new yarn where you left off.
Daisy petal: [ch3, tr 4 in next st, ch 3, slst in next 2 sts] rep all the way around until last st.
Slst back into 1st st of the round. Cut off yarn leaving a tail.
Weave in yarn tails and cut off excess yarn.(It is recommended to crochet in yarn tails as you are making the pattern so you don' t have to weave in as much at the end) Done!
Version 2: SUNFLOWER🌻
Rnd 1: Slip knot. Sc 32(multiple of 2) around the hair tie. Slst back into 1st st of the round. Cut off yarn leaving a tail.
Note: if the sc sts don' t cover the hair tie completely, that is normal. Just shift the sts around with your fingers until it covers it.
Rnd 2: Use new yarn color. Join new yarn where you left off. Ch 1.
Sunflower petals: Work all in the same st: [ (dc 1, trc 1) Picot st on previous st: (ch 2, slst in previous st). ( trc 1, dc 1) ] Slst in next st. Rep all the way around until last 2 sts.
Slst in last 2 sts. Slst back into 1st st of the round. Cut off yarn leaving a yarn tail. Weave in yarn tails and cut off excess yarn. done!
