"Break them at the breaking point," referring to the asparagus here. Very good observation! That's the way I was taught when I went to culinary school. Sheer laziness on Martha's part, for sure! I mean, how can you tell if you have completely removed the woody ends if you just cut off the ends like that? You snap it at the breaking point, then trim the end. I mean, really?! Hmmmm. Also, I'm surprised that Martha didn't even blend the hummus, leaving it coarse and chunky! Yuk! I disapprove of this video, hehe.

Martha Martha Martha, you are the "Queen of perfection" what about touching your hair then grab your food. That is beyond sloppy. Please, can you correct that behaviour?
