This looks amazing, I would love to know if you have a cooking blog where detailed instructions and measurements are written. If not I think you should! I have never seen cooking that actually made my mouth water!
I recently try this and i gotta say, as long you got the garlic, onion, salt, and the curry roux it is most easiest thing to do, if you dont have the rice you can use it as sauce for hot dog
I wanted to try this, so I typed up the recipe, and thought it would be nice to share. I didn't change the amounts of anything, so this should serve 2 Curry sauce: 200g onion, finely diced 1/2 celery sick, finely diced 100g apple (quarter of a large apple), peeled and grated 20g beef tallow (or butter, I never see tallow or other animal fats in any shops where I live) 1 tsp grated ginger 1 tsp grated garlic 1tbsp curry powder 600 ml water 1 small(ish) potato, cubed 2 cubes curry sauce mix (at 2:14 it looks like they are using House Vermount medium hot) Caramelize onion with a pinch of salt Add garlic, ginger, and apple, and evaporate the water Add curry powder, mix on low heat Add water and potatos, skim off gunk, and let boil for 15 minutes Turn off heat, add 2 block of curry sauce mix, stir in until melted. Leave covered. Fried pork: 2 slices Pork loin Breadcrumbs 1 egg 2 tbsp water 4tbsp cake flour Stab pork with a fork all over. Season with salt and pepper on both sides Mix egg and water in a bowl. Add flour and mix Cover pork in the batter, and then breadcrumbs Fry pork individually in 170°C oil for 5 minutes, flipping occasionally. Remove excess breadcrumbs, and leave pork to cool on a drying rack Slice the pork, and serve on top of a plate of rice and curry sauce
Thank you very, very much... I was wondering how to get the full recipe. This is great help. I will be trying this recipe today.. Take care, Stay safe.. Arle
I like how you use fatty pork loin. I'm actually surprised how much food there is in your serving. The Tonkatsu curry is actually heavy enough, but you have a salad and Miso soup. I'm supposed to be sleeping now, I have work in 6 hours. This is making me hungry.

Bro, you just waking up and going to your desk in this damn quarantine so relax.
I didn't get to experience Japanese food till I was about 18, when a friend invited me over and her dad made me Tonkatsu. 37 now and I'm a chef and love Japanese food. Once it is safe to travel again, I'll be moving to Japan to be a consultant for a bunch of restaurants.
I've got ADHDA & ASD there is no way in hell! X'D I would have spilled something, burned something, thrown something and then dropped the plate. Because I'm too weak to carry more than one thing at a time.
Wow thanks for showing us how simple Japanese curry is from scratch I always just buys the cubes now I know what to do if I run out lovely - really thought there was really more to it!
I made this meal last night and it was amazing. One of the best tasting meals I've had in a while. The apple was pleasantly surprising addition that worked beautifully. I used a very small gala apple. I couldn't find miso so I didn't have the soup. Thank you for teaching me how to make this 😁🙏
I've never actually seen a mouthwatering recipe until now! I wanted to reach through my screen and grab the second plate! This looks delicious and I cannot wait to attempt to make this
i feel like im a young teen at my aunties' house for the weekends waiting for my parents to come home. its a beautiful evening and my aunt just served me dinner before taking a deep sleep. i feel very relaxed, thank you.
i love this dish and already make it at home! but how cool to see the extra steps and different way you make yours. For instance, mixing the egg wash and flour together. I would have egg wash, flower and panko all separate. i'm going to try your method next time! Also, when making my curry, its very basic. I only add onion, potatoes and chicken to mine, and just follow the instructions on the box so i just break apart the curry block and drop it into the water and veggies and chicken. thank you for your videos! they are so calming and relaxing and informative. My best friend lives in Osaka and before moving there, lived in the US and we were roomates and he introduced me to numerous Japanese cuisine and I"m so thankful he did! Anyways, thank you again. ありがとうございます
Gotta love those English subtotles. Although it's only my 4th language, my English game far outweighs my Japanese. Loving the laid back nature of the video here.
OH POR DIOS que deliciosa comida que comen en JAPON uno de los sueños que tengo es viajar alli y degustar esos delicioso platos... GRACIAS por subir este maravilloso video me hacen querer mas cada capitulo de mi vida ..

Tried at home, and SUPER APPROVED. Thank you so much for the recipe! Didn't change the amounts except the Katsudon (Made 8 slices), and it served well the four of us at home, the gohan was made for four people too. どうもありがとうございます!
She was using so many pots and pans, for me I will be really lazy to wash it all after that... (showing my admiration) Love this video it's really relaxing. ❤️

Okay so I cook this curry recipe and omg the taste is so much better than I had in a restaurant. So flavourful and rich taste it's amazing! Tysm for sharing this ❤
I was having my lunch while watching this (leftover spaghetti) and I must say 2 things: 1) Your precision and confidence and meticulosity while cooking made me miss my culinary school. I'm a dropout, but someday I will be able to resume. 2) you made me drool. As soon as the grocery store nearby that has asian ingredients reopens, I will buy everything that I need. Thank you so much for sharing! You deserve all of the success that is possible in this platform.
